79: Charlotte In Cell

"You need to get me out of here," Charlotte Price looked like she was going to pass out as she held the cell gates.

Messy hair, dark circles around her eyes, and dried lips. She didn't look herself at all. Charlotte Price who reeked of wealth, power and lived an extravagant life was lowered into an ordinary woman in a cell.

Hunter hated seeing her like that, though. She looked a shadow of herself. She was at her brand when the police stormed in, handcuffed, and put her into the back seat of the car. Something he least expected because he believed Liam would stay in jail, only to have the tables being turned and Charlotte was arrested.

"I am trying my best, Charlotte. But you need to just wait for a few days, there has to be a trial in court before you can be released," Hunter's voice was unusually quiet.

"What!? I have to stay in this cell, can you not bribe the guards or something!?" Charlotte yelled with her eyes blazing with fury.
