49 • Guards Needed

Amelia stood on the balcony, craning her neck from time to time as she spied on the Winchesters, whose home was quite visible to her. She couldn’t really get hold of anything important, but she wished she could see something because she was pretty sure Vanessa had something up her sleeves.

“I wish I had a telescope or binoculars or something. I have to see what that sick woman is up to.” She muttered, straining her poor eyes and standing on her tiptoes.

“Ma’am, I think you should calm down.” Charles' voice said from behind her. She glanced at him, then returned to spying on the Winchester’s home.

“Charles, where can I get binoculars?” She questioned.

“At the mall? We could also order them as well.” He replied with a shrug.

“Which would be quicker? I can’t let a thing escape my sight.” She muttered, with her fists clenched.

“Ma’am, I could have someone drive down to the mall to get you a pair of binoculars, but I personally wouldn’t advise that.” He softly said, and Amelia turned to lo
