52 • Private Security

Matthew kept his eyes on the car behind them. It was driving at a very slow pace, but he knew it was coming after them.

Where Matthew had kept his own car was at a private parking facility, which was not quite far from where they were at that moment.

“Sir, you look a little fidgety. Is there a problem?” The driver questioned, noticing how restless Matthew was.

“No, No. I’m good. Just focus on the road.” Matthew responded, wondering how the driver hadn’t noticed they were being followed.

“Do you always have times when a particular car just keeps driving behind you?” Matthew asked after some time.

“Yes, it happens.”

“Because that car right there has been following us for a long time now. Whoever is driving it isn’t even increasing his pace. It feels really suspicious.” He noted and the driver looked through the rear mirror.

“That vehicle?” He scoffed. “ This is a highway. It is not unusual for a car to be behind you for long hours, and you have nothing to be scared of. Well, except you
