Marcel reflexively pushed Ronnie away from him.

"Why are you touching me?" said Marcel, feeling both uncomfortable and humiliated.

Ronnie swore harshly.

"What are you hiding?" Ronnie scolded with a suspicious look on his face.

"I'm not hiding anything," argued Marcel.

"What is it, brother?" asked Shirley curiously.

"I have something in my hand," Ronnie replied confidently. "Your useless husband must have robbed ...."

"Watch what you say, Ron?" interrupted Marcel, who was beginning to lose his temper. They had been stepping on his pride like a doormat every day, and now they were accusing him of stealing.

That was a huge insult to Marcel.

"So what's that? Here!" pointed Ronnie darkly. "Here I said!"

Marcel stood still in his place.

"Marcel, did you hear what Ronnie said?" scolded Shirley as she tugged on Marcel's hand like an officer finding a small bandit. "Be honest with us, what are you hiding?"
