31 No Lying

The sound of laughter could be heard when Marcel arrived at Delvino's house. He had wanted to enter through the front door, so he decided to turn around and enter through the backyard.

Shirley had always warned Marcel not to show himself when her friends came to visit.

"I want to build a perfect image in front of my friends, and I always tell them that my husband is a busy businessman who comes home every three months." That's what Shirley said every time Marcel protested her behavior.

Unfortunately, Ronnie was sitting at the table enjoying a cup of coffee. Shirley's eldest brother turned his head when Marcel appeared in the kitchen.

"You didn't come through the front door, did you?" Ronnie asked in a probing tone.

"I came through the back door," Marcel replied flatly.

"It's good that you know yourself," Ronnie said with a sardonic smile. "By the way, doesn't the waitressing job pay enough to support my sister?" asked Ronnie again as Marcel washed his hands in the sink.
