“Please help me get up” Kehlani asked Ethan, as she winced in pain.

“Slowly. Take it easy” Ethan guided, as she sat upright and he helped her on to the wheelchair by the bedside.

“How do you feel? Comfortable?” Ethan questioned, as he checked the wheelchair to see if there was any issue before moving.

“It's okay. I'm okay, let's go see my mom” Kehlani said with a smile, before Ethan wheeled her round the hospital and into the recovery room where her mom was kept.

“Please we can't let strangers see patients” a male nurse that has just resumed duty for his afternoon shift said to Ethan.

“I agree I'm a stranger but she's not. She's the daughter of the patient” Ethan said, pointing to Kehlani in the wheelchair.

“Please what is the name of the patient you wish to see?” the nurse asked.

“Mrs. Michael. Daniella Michael is her name” Kehlani responded with a nonchalant look.

“And what is your name ma? Please may I have your file to confirm that too?”
