The Invincible Billionaire. Chapter 6.

.

.

A big skyscraper was standing firm in Hilton city. At the very top of this building was a label with a bold word written on it. Anderson Inc.

It was a busy day inside the Anderson building. Everybody were moving around in the building to make sure everything was going well in the company by doing their various tasks.

They didn’t just have to do their task but they also had to look good because Mr Anderson was around and today was an important day for him so they couldn’t afford to screw anything up. Doing so will be getting fired and depending on the severity of their mistake they may never work anywhere else again.

And there were those workers that were out to show Mr Anderson that they were capable.

“Is everything going well? Is all departments doing what they should be doing correctly Linda?” A blonde haired man asked as he stared down at the world from his glass window in his office.

His fingers were locked together behind his back in a relaxed posture. He didn’t give a glance to the beautiful young lady he was speaking to.

“Everything is going fine.” Linda answered not caring about the pride of the young man talking to her with his back facing her.

Linda was a very beautiful blacked haired girl. She was tall and they were very few men in this world that could talk to her with arrogance. One of them was the man standing before her. Her Boss, Mr Anderson.  The face of the Anderson inc.

Not everyone got to see him up close like this but as his personal assistant she did and she knew for a fact that today was very important to her Boss so it was her job to keep everything in check.

“Today a member of the Morgan family will be here for the meeting so everything has to be in order.” Mr Anderson said in a nonchalant tone.

“I know sir. But this is very surprising. The members of Morgan family has never directly interfered in our matters. In times like this they always send their agents to keep check on things like this. If I may sir but don’t you wonder why they changed their tactic this time?” Linda asked in a very polite manner.

“I have thought about it a lot but I can’t find an answer but one thing is for sure we have to make Mr Morgan’s visit here as comfortable as possible.” Mr Anderson said. “Is Lady Michelson on her way?”

“Yes she is.”

“Okay good.” Mr Anderson smiled at the fact things were going well.

Reception of Anderson, inc.

“Hello.” William said with a smile.

He was wearing a sky-blue gym wear and sneakers. He was looking neat but there was nothing extraordinary about him.

People who usually walked into this building either wore a suit which was not extraordinary in of itself or their entrance was noticed. To be specific, the kind of people in this building either had to be the workers of the building or Rich visitors with their bodyguards always accompany them.

The reception was a beautiful lady seated across her counter separating her from William. She looked at William not seeing anything eye-catching about him and asked.

“Hello. Can I help you?”

“Yes. I am here to see Mr Anderson.” Willam said nonchalantly with a smile.

“What?! Is this a joke?” She refuted.

“No.” William replied back with his hands in his pocket.

“If this is a prank or something you better leave otherwise I’ll call the security. Today is not the right day for this nonsense.”

“No. It’s not a prank. I am here to see Mr Anderson I have an appointment with him.”

“You still think this is a joke.” The receptionist picked up her phone about to make a call until someone stepped into the building catching her attention.

The lady was accompanied by six bodyguards and she walked elegantly like she owned the world in her expensive dress.

It was Lady Michelson.

The reception was an open place so it was not hard for Lady Michelson to easily spot William.

However, her eyes widened when she saw him.

Lady Michelson was shocked to see William.

Did Mr Anderson not take care of him as agreed? William shouldn’t be breathing the same air as her anymore! What is he doing here? Mr Anderson really does have some explaining to do.

However, it didn’t change the fact that William was alive and well.

“You filthy thing…What are you doing here?!” She couldn’t make up any reason why a trash like William would be here right now.

“Hello Lady Michelson. I am here to see Mr Anderson.” William said with a stoic expression .

Lady Michelson’s voice nearly popped out of her sockets when she heard the words that came out William’s mouth.

“Hahaha.” She instantly laughed out loud. “Don’t tell me you are here to beg Mr Anderson because of Amelia and Clarissa.”

Seeing her laughing caused William to frown. It was out of disciplined he could still remain calm knowing well she tried to kill him.

“Today is a very important day for Mr Anderson and me. I don’t have time for a trash like you. I trust the Miss here will do well to have you thrown out in a proper way.” With those words Lady Michelson walked into the elevator with her bodyguards.

The receptionist didn’t prevent her from walking around as if it was her home because she was already well informed that that Lady Michelson was coming to see Mr Anderson.

As for the young man in front of her, she continued with her call. “Security we have a nuisance.”

It didn’t take long for security guards to start approaching them.

“I thought I told you I’m here to see Mr Anderson.” William said once more.

The security guards reached the counter and asked what’s the problem.

“Please take this loser out of here!” The receptionist said in a demanding tone.

“Alright. I’ll leave!” William said to avoid being dragged out of the place.

He politely walked away and exited the building with the security men following him to make sure that he was out.

“I told you that wouldn’t work.” Charles said while walking by his side.

“I never expected it to work but at least I won’t have any regret with what I’m about to do.” William replied nonchalantly.

William had narrated to Charles how he found himself in such a terrible situation that almost led to his death that day. It wasn’t hard for Charles to understand that they are both victims but their circumstances and outcome were different.

They both wanted revenge and Charles was ready to relax and see how William exert his own revenge.

William brought a mobile phone from his pocket and placed a call.

“Hello Mr Clark….”

Inside the one of boardrooms of the Anderson inc was Mr Anderson, Lady Michelson and Linda  seated on a large table.

“Mr Anderson I’m a bit disappointed about our plan of discarding that trash. I just saw him in your reception not too long ago. What happened?” Lady Michelson said with a frown.

Understanding what she was saying Mr Anderson answered. “Actually I was about to discuss that with you after the meeting but I’ll tell you now.”

Lady Michelson looked at him with eyes signaling that she’s all ears.

“The person I had sent to dispose the trash was someone I trusted to do the job correctly but I was shocked to see the same person with injuries that day. Not only did he have injuries but there was fear in his eyes.”

Mr Anderson paused before he continued. “I was left baffled that day because I have never seen this person feel fear before but that day he was afraid. He told me that your son-in-law not only gave him those injuries but also disposed of all his men that day.”

“What?! That’s total rubbish!” Lady Michelson said with absolute disbelief in her eyes. “There’s no way that weakling could’ve done something like that!”

“Are you sure Lady Michelson? I don’t want to believe something like that but what happened was true. A lot of bodyguards perished that day and my source said it was your son-in-law responsible.”

“It can’t be…” Lady Michelson tried to think about it for a second but she just couldn’t see William doing all that.

During all the years William spent with her she never noticed any extraordinary qualities so how did he do all that? This has to be a joke.

“It can’t be him. I refuse to believe it.” Lady Michelson said feeling certain about her beliefs.

“Anyways this is not the right time to address this issue. We will do so after the meeting. Besides how’s my lovely wife to be? I’m just she arrived home peacefully yesterday.” Mr Anderson said.

“She’s fine. She’s all yours now after all. I told her William left the house for some reasons but we really need to get rid of that trash.” Lady Michelson chuckled.

“We will.”

Ring! Ring! Ring!

It was then Linda’s phone rang out aloud.

“Hello?” She instantly answered and looked at  Mr Anderson. “For you sir.”

Mr Anderson answered the call and few seconds later his eyes shuddered fiercely. “What?!”

His reactions instantly caught the attention of Lady Michelson and Linda.  This kind of reaction was not what they were expecting so it definitely meant something was wrong.

“I’m sorry sir. I will see to it that this gets resolved immediately.” Mr Anderson pleaded like his life depended on it. “I’m so sorry sir.”

After the call was done he immediately slammed the table with his fist. “F*ck!”

“What’s wrong?” Lady Michelson asked feeling very curious. It was the same for Linda too.

“These idiots messed things up! I just got a call that Mr Morgan just arrived here to see me but he was thrown out by the f*cking receptionist!” Mr Anderson said furiously.

“What?!” Both Lady Michelson and Linda exclaimed in shock.

“Tell me why would the receptionist even do that?!”

They both knew how serious this was. A member of the Morgan family wasn’t just anybody that someone could just embarrass like that. To think of all day the receptionist would make such a stupid mistake she did so today.

“Make sure you get rid of that receptionist for this and make sure Mr Morgan is here! He’s outside now! Go pick him up!”

“Yes sir!” Linda instantly got up and rushed out the room to address the situation.

***

A few minutes later the door of boardroom opened as Linda stepped in with a pale face.

Anticipating the entrance of his guest Mr Anderson stood up also. It was then a red haired young man in blue gym wear walked in nonchalantly.

It was William.
