Chapter 51: Devil’s Spawn, Adina

They both went downstairs where a car was waiting for them and Victoria was to serve as the chauffeur. Her demeanor hadn't changed since the last time Ron saw her.

“Did Vic ever tell you what was wrong with her? She doesn't look herself,” Ron asked Adina.

"Nuh uh,” Adina said, holding her stomach.

“What are you doing?" Adina stopped him in his tracks.

“Getting into the car to meet the client we were supposed to meet." He couldn't understand the question.

He ran over to her and opened the door for her as she had commanded. Before she got in, she noticed a little speck of dust on the car seat.
