Adina swallowed heavily before she finally said, “I suppose this was a lapse in judgement. It was a mistake after all. I apologise for the mistake.”

“I'm glad we understand each other perfectly.” Ron replied with a grin and walked out of the restaurant.

He walked back to the office to grab some documents before heading home.

“Excuse me, do you know any Victoria that works here?” Someone asked him as he walked out of the building.

Ron turned to look at the man.

The man looked to be at least six foot six and was built heavily like a wrestler. He was dressed in all black with a sleeveless shirt and jeans. A tattoo displayed on his neck.

His instincts immediately told him that he wasn't a friend of Victoria's.

“Why are you looking for her?” Ron asked him.

“So you do know her?” The man asked.

“Yes, I do. But I would like to know why you're looking for her.” Ron replied.
