Ron watched as his wife sank down on the ottoman, oblivious to the fact that he was standing right behind her, listening to every word she was saying.

He wondered who it was on the other end of the phone though. He could hear the intense worry in her voice, could see her face in profile, the look on her face like she was being dragged down.

He disliked that she had to go through all of that with something he could fix in a minute and he was going to fix it for her. Even if he couldn't reveal himself at this moment. He started to walk towards her to comfort her.

“I know, I know about the suggestion that I could…get together with a potential partner who would help me with this.” Bella said into the phone, her hand coming up to massage her forehead as she sighed.
