Chapter 71:

Ron crossed his arms over his chest as his narrowed gaze fixed on the men pledging allegiance to him. They were just a bunch of fools, who didn’t have anything better to do.

He turned to the manager. “Does it hurt a lot? I will help you get that cleaned in a bit.”

She shook her head and nodded, all responses to his two different questions. He focused on the thugs again, who were still kneeling with their heads lowered.

Once men like this pledged their loyalty, they would do whatever their boss wanted, even if it meant ordering them to jump into fire.

“Stand up and leave,” Ron finally said.

“Master, is there anything you’d like us to do?”

He thought long and hard about it. The Freckles would no longer have customers because of the scene they had just displayed earlier. It would scare people off.

“Market this place, then.” Ron made a thinking face, holding up the leader’s chin. “I want you to be in charge of doing that. What’s your name?”
