When Britney was asleep, Stephen gently picked up the doll and quietly walked out of the room.

He opened the door to his room and turned on the lights. His focus was on the doll, so he didn't notice that Ariel was in his room. When he closed the door, he finally heard Ariel's shy voice. "Stephen, I've waited for you a long time."

Stephen looked up suddenly and instantly looked away after one glance. His expression turned ugly. He rebuked her, saying, "What are you doing?"
