Chapter 61 I'll Seek Justice for Myself

Earlier this morning, Thomas had gone to the police station to pick Patrick up, only to be told that his brother had been sent to a detention center. It turned out that Yvonne's lawyer had sued Patrick for attempting to murder her by hiring a contract killer.

On his way to the company, Thomas was so furious that he almost ran a red light. He wanted to kill Yvonne. "Didn't you promise to let him go? What is the meaning of this?"

"I did what I promised to do." Yvonne smiled. "But I never said anything about forgiving him for hiring someone to kill me. He should pay the price for his actions."

"You!" Thomas was at a loss for words. He'd never expected her to do such a thing!

Yvonne stood up and rested her palms on the table, leaning over to stare at Thomas. "Say, if I had died in that container, would you seek justice for me? Or would you still let Patrick go?"

Thomas dared not reply. Even he couldn't answer whether he would continue to protect his brother if Yvonne had truly been killed
