Philip turned around to signal his men to unload all the gifts from the car. They placed the gifts in a pile on the ground.

"I'm here to repay you on behalf of Linda and my wife, both of whom you saved back then."

Philip looked at Yvonne. "Please accept these gifts. If it's not enough, you can ask for more."

Yvonne took a look at the gifts. They were all branded jewelry. They clearly weren't cheap. How generous of Philip!

However, Philip's tone was rather strange. He said he was here to repay her, so why did it sound like he was here to settle the score instead?

Besides, why had Philip personally come to thank her on Linda's behalf?

"Once you accept these gifts, I hope that you will maintain your distance from Stephen in the future. No matter what, he's engaged to someone else."
