Logical Rule That Will Bore You

Azazel entered the city area which was quite crowded, and this was not like the previous city which had too many criminals. Here everyone lives peacefully, it can be seen from their faces filled with happiness.

He was standing in front of a building that was identified as the building of the adventurer's guild.

Entering it, there were already many people gathered, the bustling atmosphere was quite natural.

"Welcome!" The guild maid had paid her respects. "Is there anything I can help with?"

“Yes, I want to register as an adventurer!”

“Oh, adventurer! Alright, I'll give you some forms you have to fill out!”

Two forms later arrived, Azazel was silent for a moment in front of those forms. Remembering a time when he was still a clueless amateur, he was even confused about how to write his own name.

“You just need to fill in all the information on this paper!”

"I understand!" Azazel looked for a seat to fill out the form. “apparently here the language is also different, and how do I fill in this form? Did I use the letters of language I used before?” To determine this took a few minutes, he was actually capable of using magic that could allow him to fill all the lists. “Wait, I still have that skill! Maybe by using it, I will be able to read the contents of this paper!”

A magic circle had appeared from the palm of his right hand, and indeed he was starting to understand the contents of that paper.

“Hooh… not bad, having language skills is really useful!”

The maid became startled by the sound of Azazel's hand hitting the table.

“I already filled it!”

“O-Okay…” Maid smiled sweetly, but deep inside she was horrified by Azazel's scary-looking actions. “Okay, I checked it! Here is your badge!”

The bronze badge was already in Azazel's hands. “Then I want to take the quest soon!”

"You can do this by staring at the board over there, then come back here when you feel there is a quest that suits you!"

Azazel started to stare at the big board that had a lot of paper stuck to it, he didn't really know which one to choose.

“Which quest should I choose? At least I want to get a high paying quest that can help me get new equipment!”

"Excuse me!"

Azazel turned his body after hearing someone's voice, and there he saw three young adventurers who were giving him gaze.

"What's wrong?"

“Are you a bronze rank adventurer?”

"Bronze?" Azazel saw that his badge indeed was only bronze, and was not pleasing to the eye, but this was a fact he had to accept. "Yeah, if I'm really a bronze rank adventurer, so what's up?"

"We're here to invite you to join us in eradicating the monsters that are likely to attack directly on the village border!"

“Sounds interesting!” Azazel held his chin. "I don't think there's any need for me to think of this as a bad thing, these guys have pretty decent abilities if they dare to challenge monsters!"

The three of them stared at Azazel silently who had been giving them a serious gaze.

"Alright, I'll take what you guys have to offer!"

"Good!" A young man let out a tone filled with happiness.

After that conversation, they quickly went on a quest. Azazel was a little uncomfortable when he had to be with people like them.

“Huh… I guess it's a part of destiny wanting me to see something!”

On a quiet night, they share warmth in front of a blazing fire. The cold night became an atmosphere to accompany them.

"That's right, we haven't greeted yet! My name is Joey, this is Tania and Lilia!”

Azazel was silent, he was watching those three people. One man with the role of a warrior, another woman with a character brave enough to be reflected on her face, she is a fighter who has the ability to fight directly using hand abilities.

And, the last one is a mage who has the ability to use magic.

From what Azazel saw, it could be inferred they were the type to protect each other.

"My name is Azazel!"

The three of them became shocked when they heard that name, their eyes glaring at each other.

"What wrong?" asked Azazel.

“No, we were actually quite surprised to hear that name, the name represents death for every living being in this world! A lot of people think that Azazel is an angel who usually takes the life of a living creature right away!” Joey explained in a low voice.

“I see, in this world it even has something like this too!”

“Neh, I see you are a person who just came to town, where exactly are you from?” Lilia asked.

"I don't know where I'm from, I'm just here to do the task he's been given!" replied Azazel firmly.

Everyone who heard this felt Azazel's burning emotions, they didn't dare to ask more questions, this would definitely make Azazel very uncomfortable.

“Okay, now let's strategize, we might be able to arrive at the location the next day! We will enter a cave inhabited by a monster named Kugera, there they have quite a large number! They are not very good at fighting, but their large numbers make them a catastrophe that must be exterminated!”

“Joey and I have melee attacks, while Lilia has ranged attacks! We've always relied on Lilia here to provide assistance, if it weren't for that girl we'd probably be dead!”

“I-It's nothing, I was just doing my job as a support!” Lilia blushed at what Tania said.

“I have magical abilities and melee combat abilities, it all depends on the condition!” Azazel instantly cut the moments of those three people.

“Oh, then you will be the one to rely on in this mission! Azazel, I would be grateful if you could help us complete this quest!” Joey gave a smile of confidence.

And, Azazel is the most reluctant to be trusted, he has seen how sentient beings think cunningly in dealing with all problems.

"Yeah, I hope we'll all stay alive!"

It's terrible when those words come out of Azazel's mouth.

That night it was getting late, they were looking forward to what tomorrow's challenges would come in the way they had to go through.
