Asking for Help

"I'm sorry, Headmaster. There is someone outside who wants to meet you, have you finished meditating?"

Luanvin was silent in confusion, his eyes scanned the entire room, which was originally pitch black, now brighter because of the lantern hanging on the wall. The place to meditate is also neater, he is in the middle of a cobblestone covered with silk. The white silver sword still lay on his left side while the black lute with shiny strings is still the same in place. Not changed at all, since fifty-five days he meditated.

Luanvin twisted his right hand, sending the pin flying over him and into his chest. Jerking, Luanvin immediately touched it, until a white light shone from it.

"That pin will not hurt you, my grandson. It is a symbol of possession that will make you recognized by the people of the kingdom of heaven.  Go, avenge our hurt feelings on the person who snatched the throne from us...."

Echoing the formless voice said, Luanvin just remained silent without answering. He didn't understand the meaning of those words, making him nonchalantly respond. His hand suddenly rose and rubbed two inches over the sprawled lute. Until finally the slender harp disappeared from there.

Lanvin's lips curled into a smile, then looked at the door.

"Come in."

Shortly after he spoke, a young woman opened the stone door of the room. He bowed respectfully, still standing two steps from the door.

"I'm sorry if I disturb your meditation, Head of the College. Outside, someone wants to meet you," he said politely.

Luanvin did not answer, still sitting cross-legged gracefully in his meditation place. His gaze stared straight at the young woman standing by the door. Then smiled faintly.

"You know him, Alhena?"

"I know him, Headmaster. He is the guardian of the western forbidden forest. It's been three days since he wanted to meet, but since the Headmaster hasn't finished his meditation yet, he left and came back now."

"All right, I'll see him. You can ask him to wait for me," said Luanvin.

"Alright, Headmaster ."

The young woman who was called by Luanvin as Alhena bowed again, then backed away and got out of there. Luanvin's hand grabbed the sword, then slowly began to descend the rock where he had always spent his days.

Just as he was about to take a step, Luanvin turned around, looking up to see the white eagle's Chief's shoe symbol. His mind was running, remembering the time when he suddenly fell from there and ended up in long meditation.

"I don't know what happened, but I'll start to find out." He said expressionlessly, still staring at the symbol for a moment.

Without another word, Luanvin stepped out of the room. The first thing he saw were dozens of young people, boys, and girls practicing martial arts in the main courtyard. The distance is only a few meters from his building, making Luanvin just stand on the veranda of his room which has three stairs that connect it to the lower yard.

The surroundings are surrounded by neatly arranged houses. Like the castle of a ruler. At the other end, Luanvin caught a tall building that resembled a gate. It was the entrance that used to be a cave.

"Forbidden Inheritance College," Luanvin mumbled reading the sentence above the gate, his lips curled into a smile, remembering his name.

"He said my name is Luanvin. So my name is Luanvin. That's good, he's good at picking names."

His smile grew even more, as he drew in the cool oxygen that had not entered his respiratory organs for a long time. It feels like Luanvin hasn't seen the outside world in a long time, even though he feels fine. His body seemed unable to move, causing him to remain silent within a serene blue light. I don't know what happened, Luanvin didn't know.

"Headmaster?"

Someone's call made him turn around. From the veranda of his special building, a young woman jogged. Then bowed respectfully to him as he approached.

"What is it?"

The young woman bent down again, her hands resting on each of her upper groins.

"Sorry Principal. Commander Alhena has brought the western rangers to the meeting room. You are asked to go there immediately," he said politely.

Luanvin smiled, looking gently at a young woman who was still lowering her gaze.

"I'm just going there," he answered simply.

"Okay, let me take you, Headmaster?"

Luanvin smiled again, this time he felt happy. Because for some reason, Luanvin did not know where the meeting place was. He also didn't know who the guardian of the western forest would meet him. However, to carry out the activities that he thought he was used to, Luanvin just followed the path that took him.

"Of course, walk in front of me."

The woman nodded, then took a step down the steps that connected the building to the courtyard. Luanvin just silently followed, his gaze staring straight ahead with the sword tightly gripped in his fingers.

Passed dozens of young people who were practicing. Luanvin followed the woman into a room.

"Go ahead, Headmaster."

"Thank you," Luanvin replied curtly.

He immediately entered when the door of a room was opened by the young woman who led the way. Inside, a man dressed in thick black with the Chief's expression brightened, he immediately got up, and bow respectfully. On his right side, Alhena also bowed making Luanvin smile.

"What's the matter with your visit, West Guard?"

Not knowing why Luanvin immediately asked a question that he had never even thought of. Just now, his mind was even a little confused, what should he do if it comes in? However, everything seemed to be lost when Luanvin arrived and saw the face of the western forest ranger that seemed familiar to him.

"I'd like to ask for help, Headmaster."

Luanvin was silent, stepping towards the yellow-clothed cot. Cots are usually used as oversized seats. Those who can sit on it are the only people who have influence or the original owner of their residence.

After she sat there cross-legged, Alhena stepped forward to pour water from the teapot, then handed it to Luanvin.

"Thank you."

Alhena nodded deeply, taking two steps back.

Luanvin drank the water in the small cup. Sweet and sour, like the taste of honey. In the lyrics, Alhena is still looking down not far from her right side. Luanvin knew the young woman was a leader aka the main student of the forbidden college who became his right-hand man. I don't know who told, Luanvin can feel and recognize it through the whisper of the heart and instinct.

"What help?" He set the stone cup down on the small table on his couch, staring into the face of the Chief ranger who was sitting on a chair.

"The headmaster knows exactly how the western forest is." The forest guard sighed softly. "The people who rebel always come in droves to open new land. They will burn the forest to build bigger houses. I'm afraid I won't be able to defend it, Head of the College. Because I also will not do violence or fight them with magic."

Luanvin was stunned as if he knew about this incident. Luanvin also felt that this man had met her before. But, I don't know what made him seem to have just woken up from a long sleep. And after waking up, Lanvin was again faced with the same problem.

"What do you need from me?" Luanvin asked, staring at his interlocutor for a moment.

"For now, I only want a few students of the Aparogefsi Forbidden College to help my subordinates, the Head of the College. Please, the Head of the College is willing to help me."
