CHAPTER 41

Thania's Standpoint

I quickly ran down the hallway toward the medical building. I cannot think of anything else but Sejun's life. He is one of my most loyal followers, and I cannot deny that I feel indebted to him. As I step inside the medical building, I find the lifeless bodies of students and other aylwards. I slowly approach them, kneeling in front as a sign of respect. Suddenly, the emergency room door swings open, and nurses emerge carrying yet another lifeless body. The nurses look at me with sadness in their eyes, as if they too are carrying the pain we all feel.

"Thunder Dwyn, 21, the 28th death due to poisoning," they declare in a trembling voice. Without hesitation, I enter the emergency room and there, I see three people lying motionless, fighting for their lives. At the end, I see Sejun, trembling with weakness. I slowly approach him.
