Chapter 18

Souza looked absently at the blonde's room. It was practically entirely made up of pink, and imported furniture and trinkets like those from a dondoca. He looked at the desk and noticed some open college notebooks. The handwriting was neat and the calculations were full of errors. It was obvious that she wasn't born for Marketing, nor could she calculate the four basic operations without making mistakes.

“Not that she was stupid, but that wasn't her main skill” She turned some pages, noticing sketches of clothes on the last pages. So that was it, she wanted to be a fashion designer. It was just like Gabriela.

It was then that he noticed that notebook with a cover of dried flowers that Gabriela always carried and wrote in at the most unlikely times. He opened it, curious to know what the girl wrote so much about, and started reading a page that he thought was interesting.
