Chapter 85

Seven years later.

It didn't matter what season it was, in Denmark it was always cold. The freezing breeze was harsher that month and the snow fell, leaving the country sunk in a white landscape, the inhabitants didn't care, they went to the squares to watch the snowflakes fall, the children made huge dolls with the help of some adults, snowball events happened.

The square that morning was reasonably full, it was Christmas Eve and everyone wanted to admire the huge tree decorated with red balls and white angels. In the center, the choir made up of teenagers sang typical Danish Christmas songs at the foot of the huge tree.

On a gray stool an old man with long gray hair and blue eyes sat between two seven-year-old girls. The two girls had brown hair tied in a high ponytail, their expressive blue eyes were as bright as snow and their little red dresses were the same as the other's, making it almost impossible to identify who was who.
