A Way In

In the dim light of early dawn, Atheria and Berek approached the warehouse where Gabriel was rumored to be held. The area was desolate, with the decrepit building standing isolated, its facade betraying no hint of the secrets within. They found a concealed vantage point a safe distance away, allowing them a clear view of the warehouse and its surroundings.

Atheria, her eyes scanning the area, whispered to Berek, "See those guards? Two at the entrance, just like the spies said. And there's a patrol circling the perimeter every ten minutes."

Berek, peering through a pair of binoculars, nodded. "Yeah, and look at the watchtowers. Two of them, one on each side. They have a good view of the approaches. Getting in won't be easy."

Atheria focused her attention on the building itself. "There's more to this place than meets the eye. See those symbols etched onto the walls? They're part of a magical array, likely for detection or defense."
