Under the gentle glow of the moonlight, Atheria and Lorian ventured into the castle gardens, their steps slow and unhurried. The night air was crisp and cool, carrying with it the soothing scents of blooming flowers and whispering secrets of the world beyond the castle walls.

Lorian's eyes sparkled as he looked up at his sister, his mischievous spirit undiminished even after the earlier kitchen escapade. "Atheria, you used to lift me like this when I was little. Just one more time?"

Atheria chuckled at her brother's request. "Oh, Lorian, you're growing so fast. But all right, just one more time."

With an affectionate smile, she carefully scooped him up into her arms, lifting him high above her head. Lorian giggled with delight, feeling like he was soaring among the stars.

They strolled along the garden path, the gentle night breeze rustling the leaves and caressing their faces. Lorian broke the tranquil silence with a heartfelt sigh. "Atheria, sometimes I miss having a mother."
