Mage and the backup

As the rebels burst out of the warehouse, their hearts pounding with the adrenaline of escape, they skidded to a halt. Surrounding them, emerging from the shadows, were more of Marvin's soldiers, heavily armored and with weapons drawn. The warehouse's fiery demise had drawn unwanted attention, and now they were trapped.

"Fuck, we're surrounded!" shouted the scarred rebel, his axe gripped tightly.

Atheria, her eyes scanning the encircling soldiers, cursed under her breath. "Looks like we're not out of the woods yet, folks."

The soldiers, forming a tight ring around the rebels, sneered with malice. "Thought you could just blow up our property and walk away, did you?" one of them taunted. "Time to pay the price, rebels."

The rebels, despite their exhaustion, readied themselves for another fight. They stood back to back, forming a defensive circle, their eyes fixed on the soldiers.
