1| Disposal Place All Problems

The cawing and flapping of the wings of crows and vultures shouted in the dark night. Thick fog blanketed the top of a mountain of open dumping waste that was as dark as a shadow.

The night birds scavenged through the piles of trash and the carcasses of wild animals trapped there. Their beaks keep pecking at whatever they can eat. Occasionally a herd of mice ran to save themselves from the stalking of the owls that flew silently.

The nocturnal birds' delight in scavenging through mountains of trash is soon shattered when a truck approaches. Birds scatter into the sky with resounding flaps of their wings. The rodents sneak into the pits of the waste mixed with stale lye.

The taillights of the truck glowed red. The sound sensor beeps loudly when walking backward to find the way. The tailgate of the dull brown trash truck, already rusty in many parts, slowly started to lift up. The back door was wide open. Gravity makes an entire load of garbage in the tub sag out. Among the trash thrown out by the truck, the body of a man had also slid out.

After unloading all of its cargo, the truck left, leaving tire tracks on the muddy ground surface mixed with household waste. The flock of crows had previously rejected, landed again, and approached the trash that had just been unloaded.

They cawed loudly while scrambling to scavenge for new trash. The man's body was also disposed of, and the garbage was seized and surrounded by crows and vultures.

Crows landed on the man's body and pecked at his arm. At first, the crows hesitated, but they rode wildly at it because the figure didn't move. The man's face was pale and partially covered by hair mixed with blood and dried mud. There were no clothes on his body except shorts full of bloodstains.

The crows kept pecking at his exposed flesh, and there were many wounds. Blood previously dry began to seep again from his open wound. The fishy smell of blood mixed with the stench of rotting trash was blown by the cold wind to the top of the trash mountain. There was a white owl perched and watching.

On the east side, the light of dawn was parting the darkness of the mountain's garbage in the landfill. Slowly the sun's light spread from the ridge of the trash mountain and continued to the west side until it landed right on the man's face.

When the sun hit his eyes, he suddenly blinked. His fingers twitched. The crows, still pecking at his body, immediately scattered as soon as the man moved his hand to chase them crows away.

The man groaned in pain with his eyes still closed. He squirmed, and an avalanche of trash suddenly fell from a great height onto his face.

"Ouch," he groaned.

He tried to get out of the rotten garbage grave by crawling. He lay back down when he had managed to get a firmer place. His chest heaved up and down with a gasp.

His lips curved into a weak smile.

"Maybe it is good," he said. "They thought I was dead and threw me in the trash. The garbage truck takes me to the landfill. This should be fine for me. They will never bother me again and think I have left this world forever."

His smile suddenly turned into a powerful clenched jaw. His hands clenched at his side. He got up and struggled to sit up. Occasionally he groaned in pain. He felt his chest aching and throbbing. He thought maybe his ribs were broken.

Nine hours ago.

Eryk Wayland has just landed on a commercial plane at the international airport after receiving a call from the family butler that his grandfather, Wayland Senior, had died.

For the last two years, Eryk was sent by his grandfather to study in Melbourne. In previous years, since he was 13 years old, Eryk even had to live in Finland alone to get away from his grandfather's life in Black Lake City. Eryk grows into a private person who is closed and full of wounds. He felt abandoned and alienated by his grandfather despite all the available luxuries. Eryk felt that his grandfather didn't want him.

When Eryk was going to campus, someone suddenly called his cell phone and said that Eryk had to return to Black Lake because his grandfather had died. Even though Eryk was annoyed and angry at his grandfather, Eryk still wanted to go back to see the man one last time.

Eryk arrived at the airport with dark glasses. He tried to hide his face from the paparazzi. News of his grandfather's death filled all the national media. Eryk kept thinking about his grandfather's sudden death. As far as Eryk's knowledge, his grandfather had no history of any illness that might have taken his life.

Eryk thought someone from his family would send a pickup at the airport. He looked around for someone he might know, whether it was an uncle, a cousin, or maybe the assistant head of the household.

Eryk couldn't find anyone he knew. However, a man dressed all in black with a hat covering his eyes approached Eryk. The cigarette was sandwiched between the man's lips. He showed me a sign with Eryk Wayland's name on it.

"Mr. Eryk Wayland?" asked the man in a hoarse voice.

"Yes, that's me. Did my family send you?"

"Yes, we will accompany you. Where's your luggage?"

"There is only this backpack. I can carry it myself."

Eryk returned to his parent's hometown with only one small backpack filled with enough clothes for two or three days. He didn't plan to stay there long, even though his grandfather had passed away. His grandfather's death will be a strong reason for Eryk not to return to Black Lake or stay longer. Eryk will only say farewell to his grandfather before he is buried.

"I got orders from one of your family members to pick you up at the airport. Aren't you in a hurry to get to the funeral? Come with me!" said the man casually, not showing any respect in front of Eryk.

Erick doesn't care. He preferred not to be the center of attention like that. He thought this man was the new driver sent by his uncle's family. Eryk followed the man out of the airport, and a black SUV was already waiting for him there. Behind the wheel of the SUV was another man who was also wearing all black.

Eryk didn't suspect anything and didn't think about anything. The man with a nameplate waiting for him at the airport opened the back door for Eryk. After Eryk entered, the man closed the door and locked it from the outside.

It was at that moment that Eryk started to panic and get confused. "What are you planning?" Eryk began to realize something was wrong with the two men who had picked him up.

The two men sat quietly in the front seat of the car. They drive out of the airport. None of them answered Eryk's curiosity.

"Who are you? What do you really want? Get off me here right now!" shouted Eric.

"Just shut up!" said the man who kept on sucking on his cigarette. "You just need to sit quietly, and we will arrive at our destination."

Eryk continued to pay attention to the street they were walking on. "But, this road doesn't lead to my house or my grandfather's funeral. Where will you take me?"

Eryk began to realize that he was in danger. He started looking for his cell phone in his bag. However, the man who continued to smoke pulled Eryk's backpack and snatched his cell phone.

A fist flew to his face when Eryk was about to fight back. Eryk's vision darkened, and he didn't remember anything.

When Eryk woke up about three hours later, he was locked up in an old abandoned warehouse. Eryk didn't know where he was right now. All his clothes had been stripped away, and he was only wearing his shorts. Eryk's body is full of scars. His face was bruised, and his lips were split. He felt blood filling his mouth. Incredible pain and pain ran through Eryk's body which was filled with blow wounds.

“Who… are you… exactly?" Eryk said softly between his mouth, which kept spewing blood. "What do you want from me? Who sent you?"

"Do not talk too much! You just sign these papers, and you'll be free forever. I will end your life, so you don't suffer anymore," said the man who was previously the driver of an SUV.

Eryk knew that the two men were sent by his uncle. Eryk was forced to sign a letter transferring the inheritance rights from his grandfather. The uncle always hated Eryk, who was an orphan. The grandfather left all his wealth only to Eryk. Even though Mr. Wayland Senior still has another son (Eryk's Uncle) who has always been loyal and works for Mr. Wayland Senior.

One of the men holding Eryk's cell phone rings. He picked it up and said briefly into the cell phone. The sound of the phone was loud enough for Eryk to hear it.

"Did you manage to get his autograph?"

"Master Sebastian, we have not succeeded. This young man was very stubborn. He still refuses to sign no matter how hard we beat him."

"You bastards! I paid dearly for you two not to get bad news. Hurry up and get his autograph! Oh, wait, let me talk directly to my nephew," said the uncle.

The man brought the phone to Eryk's ear. Eryk's head fell to his chest with both hands hanging from the barn ceiling. His feet even floated a few inches off the floor. Eryk's body occasionally swayed and spun like a sand sack. Eryk looks very weak. Blood kept dripping from his face and body, full of wounds.

"My dear nephew," said the uncle in an artificially gentle tone. "Do you want to continue suffering like this? Just put your signature, and then you'll be free afterward. Don't you want to meet your grandfather at the funeral? Or do you want to follow him to the afterlife?"

"What do you want, Uncle? I never disturb your life. I also never asked for a penny of inheritance from my grandpa or your wealth. If grandpa left the treasure to me, it wouldn't be my fault. Why don't you ask it directly from him?" replied Eryk with a winning grin.

"Damn, little bastard! You're just like your father. You pretend you don't need treasures but refuse to hand them to me! Do you know how he could die because of that attitude?" the uncle hissed into the phone.

Eryk's swollen and blue eyes opened wide when his father's name was called. Even though he was in great pain, Eryk tried to regain consciousness.

"So my parents didn't die in an accident?" he asked.

"You want to know the truth?" the uncle felt he had an opportunity. "Put your signature, and you will listen to all my stories. If you sign the surrender of the entire estate to me, I will have them bring you here, and I will tell you whatever you want to hear from me in person."

Eric raised his head. When the cell phone was turned off, the two men who had beaten Eryk waited impatiently. Eryk asked to be put down. He promised to sign autographs.

One of the men waved his bare hand in the air, but suddenly the rope that had tied Eryk to the warehouse ceiling snapped as if slashed by an invisible sword. Eryk was amazed, but he couldn't think any longer. His body fell to the floor and drooped like a sack.

"How could you cut the rope even without a weapon and touch it?" asked Eryk with his lips trembling because of the pain.

"What do you think we were beating you with? None of our fingertips even touch your skin. But you can get hurt that much. Oh, well, I don't think you have long to live. Before I explain my secret, just put your signature here!" the man ordered.

"After I sign it, will you take me to meet my uncle?"

"Oh, of course, young man. We also got to meet Sebastian Wayland. We had to ask him for the rest of the payment. So just put your goddamned autograph on this damn piece of paper!"

One of the men threw a pen in front of Eryk's body, which was still curled on the floor. Eryk tried to sit up as hard as he could, even though it was excruciatingly painful. His hands were bruised and bloody. Even some of his knuckles were broken, and he began to reach for the pen. Even though his hands were still tied to ropes, Eryk signed his hand on the paper tremblingly.

"I've signed it. Now full of your promises. Take me to my uncle's place!" Eryk turned to the two men who stood towering in front of him.

Without Eryk expecting it, the eyes of the two men under his hat suddenly lit up bright red. They grinned with sharp fanged teeth. Then from their hands emerged a huge shadow like a Buddhist fist made of stone and tightly clenched.

"You think we're going to take you to meet your uncle? Of course not! But we will send you to hell to meet your super-rich grandfather. hahaha!" The two men burst into laughter.

The stone figure of a Buddha's fist soared overhead as the two men's hands moved. An unmanned fist was just a stone fist. The fist flew and hit Eryk's body.

Eryk, who had previously been trying to stand up, was suddenly pushed back with great force as if he had been hit by a car traveling very fast. His body was thrown against the warehouse wall until part of the wall was chipped. Eryk fell unconscious after vomiting blood from his mouth.

"Check him out!" said one of the men to his colleague.

One man approached Eryk's body by kicking his leg. He moved Eryk's limp body with the hem of his boot.

"This kid is dead! He didn't move at all. There will be no survivors from our fist summoned spirits."

"Throw him in the trash. In two hours, the garbage truck will come. Let them take his body to the trash mountain in Rockwool and feed the vultures there."

Eryk already remembers everything. He is now trying to sit among the piles of trash. His fingers bent very oddly from being broken. Perhaps he felt his ribs had been partially crushed after being smashed by Buddha's fist into the wall.

"Summoner's spirit power?" Eryk can still hear and remember clearly what they said before passing out.

Eryk raised the corners of his lips and looked disgusted. "Uncle has killed me. Wouldn't it be great if I disappeared from their lives? But what should I do from here?" Eric sighed. He just realized that all this time, he has always lived with the support of his grandfather.

Eryk could not walk because his ankle was rotated 45 degrees backward. He had to crawl down that mountain of trash. On one footing, the waste peak sagged, and Eryk rolled around and was dragged down along with the other dirt.

An owl watching Eryk from one of the tops of the trash mountain started to spread its wings and fly to approach Eryk. When Eryk was at the bottom of the pile of garbage covered in dirt, the white owl stood beside Eryk's head and said something.

"Will you make a pact with me? Surrender your soul for me, and then I will give you the life of an invincible world!"
