10. A battle with the dragon Zephyros

"That? Did you stay silent? "Does that mean you're accepting that you're useless and worthless and that no one will believe that you're some kind of superhero now?" Marcus mocked me.

I turn to look at my followers, they all nod their heads, looking at me seriously, and without saying anything to them, they seem to have realized my intentions, they realized what I was thinking at that moment, and then, I decided to do it.

Soon, the robotic female voice spoke to me again inside my head, it told me to whisper the word “Fly” and then, as soon as I spoke to myself to say the word as I should, I witnessed seeing how my body begins to levitate in the air, as if I had some kind of invisible wings on my back that allowed me to do this with such skill that it seemed that I was already an expert in flight.

My followers looked at me amazed, amazed, because every time I used my system it was as if, for them, I were a wonderful God who could do everything.

I looked at the bullies, and they were looking at me with their mouths open and with their eyes fixed on me, it seems that they could not assimilate so easily that I, being weak as they said, now had the opportunity to have acquired what wonderful powers that have turned me into another being.

My body was raised to a suitable height so that everyone present could see me very clearly, and likewise, I could hear them, and they could hear me whenever we needed to speak.

"And good? How do you like my new system? Now, do you think I'm lying?" Will they continue to make fun of me? I said, without needing to raise my voice to talk to the bullies.

But I realized first that with my demonstration, the bullies have remained mute, not knowing what to say about what their eyes were seeing at that moment.

I smirk, now, who was the liar of them all?

“Go down,” I whispered, and soon, my system obeyed, allowing me to descend to the ground slowly and gently so as not to hurt myself with a possible bad fall to the ground.

Having descended to the ground, with my feet firmly on the earth's crust that was now trembling again, however, it did so slightly, my followers looked at me with pride, feeling happy that they were by my side, obeying me in everything I did. I would ask them to do it without any objection.

I smiled, feeling completely proud that, finally, I managed to humiliate the bullies who made my life miserable before this whole disaster happened.

“Sir, can we go now? I think we are wasting a lot of time with these guys, and the truth is, time right now is not to be wasted,” Jason said, looking towards the sky.

As if he had given us an order, we all decided to follow him, we looked up to the sky, and it was behaving in a very peculiar way that none of us have ever witnessed before on a common day outside an apocalypse.

We have discovered that the sky has changed color, previously it had been a very dark shade of gray, and the lightning still persisted in the middle of the clouds, announcing for hours that a strong storm was going to fall, but until now It hadn't happened.

From dark gray, the sky became reddish, with orange clouds standing out among them. And in the middle of these, thanks to the light that flashed lightning in the sky, we were able to witness having seen a strange black shadow that was perceived to be a creature of enormous size, larger than a 30-story building. No one knew what it was, but the robotic voice spoke in my head, warning me that danger is near us.

"Henry? “Are you okay?” Sasha asked, when everyone realized what was happening.

“Guys, we have to go, now,” I responded with concern.

“What's going on?” Jason asked, also looking at me with worried eyes.

But before I could answer Jason's question, from the sky, we heard the loud roars of what appears to be a dragon. The figure in the sky continued to move his body as if it were a roller coaster that was going up and down until it descended and ascended in its path. This creature moved as if it were a pair of waves that moved thanks to the force of the wind.

“What the hell is that?” Marcus shouted, speaking with terror, while his gaze remained fixed on the sky, watching as the creature began to descend from the clouds to be seen before our eyes.

My system seems to have reacted to Marcus' question, and then, the robotic female voice started speaking to me in my head.

[System off]

The voice finished speaking in my mind, and I looked again at the beast, it had completely descended from the clouds, and now, it met all the physical characteristics that my system had described to me in its information.

“Guys, seriously, we have to go. We cannot stay here, this creature is very powerful and very strong. He has come for us, let's go,” I told the boys, increasing my concern more than I already felt.
