"Y.. you.. don't come any closer!" Fu Wan yelled while pointing one of his hands towards Tian Fan.

Tian Fan didn't respond; he just grinned at the alchemist from the Fu clan.

"What do you want?" Fu Wan asked, trying to buy some time.

"Tell me, who's behind you? What's your purpose in all of this?" Tian Fan asked as he walked closer to Fu Wan.

"What are you talking about? I don't understand," Fu Wan said, avoiding eye contact.

"It seems you prefer the difficult and painful way to be honest. Very well then!" Tian Fan replied, grinning at him.

"Wait... wait!" he called out again.

"Let's talk this out! I'll answer all your questions honestly. But promise not to kill me," Fu Wan said seriously.

"Are you in a position to make offers now? I don't think you realize the situation you're in!" Tian Fan retorted as he approached Fu Wan.
