‘Your resemblance is out of this world. You can be useful if your brother is too stubborn to do it.’
Miller sighed as he stood in front of the crowd; lost in his own thoughts…. An incident that happened six years ago. The men in front of him were soldiers and as he walked around, they all saluted him. As Miller expected, convoys of black cars filled the place, causing him to smirk. As he walked over to the car, he heard a voice behind him. “I thought you changed your mind after last night's discussion. And, are you still keeping your position as the Almighty General a secret or….?” One of the supreme rulers asked Miller who opened his car door. The middle-aged man didn't dare look up at Miller, his tone filled with respect. Miller had ruled greatly in the past years and it was more reason why he and the other rulers behind him wanted him to remain in the east province rather than going back to his hometown, Fox River. There were about 12 rulers, each representing the 12 calendar months and were all given the title as God Of War. The power of life and death were in their hands, plus they oozed extraordinary power and wealth. Still, none was a match for the young man standing in front of them. Miller kept a straight face as he got into his car and shut his door. Without looking at them, he replied, “Just like always, keep my face out of the media until I oppose that.” His flight back to Fox River was in an hour. It's been six years since he left Fox River; the city where he lost his parents and his twin brother went Mysteriously missing after an attack. Though he managed to escape after cutting the leader's palm off; along with his mother who was bleeding from her head. He pleads for his boss' family to help save his dying mother. But they had their conditions; Which he didn't think twice in accepting as his mother was the last relative he probably had left. The Grant family was to enroll a male child to the army, as it was the tradition in their family, and they couldn't object even if they wanted to. The upcoming war was going to be brutal and they didn't wanna lose any of their sons in the battlefield and when Miller came pleading, they saw that as a perfect solution to their worries as the time was ticking and they needed to provide their son in less than 20 hours. Miller wasn't part of the family as he was just a mere driver, so they got him to get married to their second granddaughter, Megan so he could be part of the family and take their male child's place. They promised to clear his mother's bills, and since Miller was desperate for the cash, he accepted. Quickly, Miller the family driver, was set to wed Megan. The news struck the city, causing Megan to be the laughing stock of the entire city. On the night of their wedding, drunk and half unconscious, Megan took the initiative to undress and pull Miller to the bed. The next morning, Miller heard of his mother's death, plus his enrollment in the army. He couldn't object, the Grant family played their part in paying her bills, he had to play his own part. So, he got enlisted in the army and that lasted for six years. Throughout his stay in the army, Miller had endured death threats, torture but what kept him going was this day; going back to his wife, Megan and also looking for his missing twin brother. In the space of 6 years, he had turned from a poor driver to not just a Supreme General but also a multi trillionaire. - Miller's private jet landed at the airport, and as he stepped out, he got into his already waiting Rolls-Royce. “Welcome General,” Nora, his assistant, bowed as she sat next to him while the car moved. “Um… boss, this is the report from your company this week.” She handed him a brown file. Miller turned to her calmly, “Listen…While we are in Fox River, you are to address me by my name…Especially around other people.” Nora swallowed hard, “Yes, sir…” She felt his intimidating aura and the seriousness in his tone. She didn't like the idea, but she dares not disobey. “Lastly, I need the information of the bastards that got my parents killed. I mean, all of them… get their information to me, in less than 12 hours.” She nodded. She had prepared everything he instructed her, plus the cab that was to take him down to where he wanted to go. In less than an hour, they arrived in front of the taxi. Miller didn't say a word to her, he stepped out of the car, and got into the taxi. The convoy of cars behind him took the other direction, while the small taxi took the U-turn. Soon, the driver stops at the gate of the Grant family's building. As Miller walked into the place, he recalled Megan's words, ‘You could have stopped me.’ They were both drunk for different reasons. She never wanted to get married to their driver, while Miller just wanted to see his mother alive. Though she took the first step and lost her virginity to him, he still loved her throughout his stay in the army. Even when he was being taken away, Megan had this hope to see him again no matter how long he stayed in the army. The house seemed to be empty, well expect, there was a little something happening in the kitchen. “Should I serve mine as well, uncle?!” He heard a tiny girl's voice from the kitchen. “If you have a death wish, try!” Miller heard a voice upstairs respond to the little girl. He couldn't help but recognize that the voice belonged to Paxton, Megan's immediate brother. Everywhere went silent then Miller walked carefully to the kitchen area, wondering who had that tiny voice. Miller stood close to the entrance, his eyes glaring at the little girl of five or six years old who was serving several bowls of chicken soup on different plates. She didn't seem to be struggling in serving like kids her age, plus, she seems to be used to it, more like she was the one who even prepared the food. Miller was tempted to go give a helping hand but the little girl was quick. For a skinny looking kid, she was strong. Miller's eyes scanned the girl’s face, and couldn't help but notice the gray Mark on her neck. Plus, the uncanny resemblance between her and Megan. He didn't realize there was someone also in the kitchen with the kid. “It tastes heavenly, Aliyah … you're beginning to cook like a pro. Even better than me.” Miller heard the maid who was at the other corner say after tasting the food. It was then that it dawned on him that this malnourished looking kid was the one who prepared the food she was dishing into the bowl; and Paxton was upstairs, telling her not to serve herself after all her efforts?! This got Miller frowning. Especially since he had a hunch that the girl was related to the Grant family. “No, what if sir Paxton checks my mouth?” Aliyah shook her head, rejecting the small portion of food the maid handed over to her. “Eat it fast, he won't find out.” The maid had this sorry look in her eyes as she said to Aliyah. “There's no bread to give you tonight as sir Paxton had hid the keys to the locker.” “Where is my mummy? I wanna go to her.” Aliyah said almost in tears as she wiped the sweat off her face. It was obvi
He had a fearless gaze as he angrily yelled at Miller. Six years was sure a long time and considering how skinny and poorly looking Miller used to be, he didn't recognize him…. The man in front of him had a different hair color and abs.“Put my niece down, and get the fuck out of my house!” Paxton thundered.Miller smiled, “Oh, so she's suddenly your niece, huh? You're a lunatic!” He thundered, his voice echoing throughout the building. His intimidating aura got everyone ready to flee from the kitchen.Even Paxton didn't bother going any closer.“You're so dead!” Paxton smirks as he sees four of their guards standing at the door entrance. He had this relief and confident smile.“Make sure he's not breathing.” Paxton commanded them.“He has a death wish… we'd make that come true!” One of the men yells before attacking Miller.Smack! Smack! Bang! Before Paxton could process what he just witnessed, all the guards were groaning on the floor.“Not my eyes! Fuck!”“I can't see… shit…”“My b
Megan paused and stared at her husband in horror. The man rolled his eyes, “Hey! Stop dreaming… you don't even look like someone who can afford to breathe here…. And you want me to chase my customers for you? Even the richest man here cannot afford to pay that…” “How much?” Miller cut him short. “2 million dollars! Do you have that? Well I thought as much…. Wake up from your slumber and get your ass out of here or I'd make you regret your existence….” The man barked. “Don't just sit there! Or you think men dressed in rags are who we offer our service to?” “Don't say that to my daddy… you're mean...” Aliyah said but Megan was quick to cover her mouth. “Good… put a leech on your daughter. Her daddy can only blab! You beggars have got some guts!” The man shouted. Miller's palm formed a fist and the atmosphere became intense as he stood from his seat. “Did you just say that to my daughter?” Miller checked his name tag at his left chest; it was Dustin Brown. “Fucker…” be
“Your time is almost up, buddy…. This place isn't cleared yet!” Miller said coldly to Dustin. Though the place was filled with wealthy men, of the same caliber as the mafia lord, none of them dared look Miller in the eyes. At least not after what they all just witnessed. “Get out… get out…. All of you! Leave this minute!” Dustin yelled out coldly at the customers who were still sitting and watching. Most of them left, and the ones who were brave to stay started packing their bags immediately. They were terrified at what they saw, but most of them had ordered wines worth a million, even if they wanted to stay behind and have them, then had to run for their dear lives. “I think he was hit by lightning.” “It was beyond human imagination….” Miller heard the customers whimpering as they ran out. In less than 51 seconds, the place was clear and quiet. One of the hefty men snapped his fingers and a tall fair lady walked up to Miller's table, her head facing the ground. “Welcome…to t
“Your replacement! - now that you've said that, James… I agree…. He can take his ‘Mistake’ of a daughter along with him after doing the needful!” Levi thundered.Miller's hand formed a fist upon hearing those words. It seems, ‘Mistake' was the title given to his little daughter by the Grant family. The urge to make them regret their actions filled him but he hid those feelings and tried to be civil with his in-laws. They were still Aliyah’s grandparents. “Hahaha! I trust you, uncle. I wouldn't be needing a ‘Mistake' in my house.” James mocked.Miller frowned and turned to James with a stern look, “If you value your tongue, you better tie it! The respect I have for my inlaws are the reason you're still breathing. Keep my daughter out of that trash hole in your face!”“Haha! It seems the army has given you the audacity to talk back! Do you know who is sitting before you?” James scoffed, “You’re a nobody compared to my status. Did you see the Maybach outside? Even if you were to be sold
Dustin did not dare move close to the scene. Not after what he and his men witnessed at the restaurant. This man right before them was a monster. They valued their lives, so they lowered their heads, terrified at the pains he was inflicting on the young master.James was on the floor, growling and spitting blood from his mouth when Dustin walked up to Miller and bowed before him. To everyone including James' surprise, Dustin clasped his hands, his head lowered to the ground, “Sincerely, I know I'm stupid, and I apologize…. Not for the young master… but for myself….” James’ jaw dropped immediately as tears of pain rolled down the corner of his eyes. He almost passed out, and his men were bowing before the enemy? Talk about irony.“Put the young master in the car and take him back to his father…” Dustin ordered the rest of his men and they did accordingly.“Put me down! What the fuck are you doing, Dustin! What the hell did you smoke?! I said deal with that father of a ‘Mistake'!” Jam
The Mighty men had a club house close to Fox River’s Park. Their gathering is always held in their clubhouse; exclusive to their members. Their club or brotherhood were known throughout the country and no one seems to be interested in it. More like they were scared to dare talk about it as anyone who had anything terrible to say about them were mysteriously killed. They started with just twenty members but were now over a hundred and filthy members, due to the wealthy men who needed protection and more power. The society was led by just 7 leaders. ‘The Mighty Men’ Themselves. Currently, they had their usual gathering but this time, they seemed to be having a little celebration with less members. They were about 40 in numbers. Their tables were filled with wine and different dishes as some danced to the music in the background. Half of the men had their pipe in their mouths, smoking, and discussing within themselves while the leader, Lord Theodore, who sat at the edge of the t
Unscathed, Miller turned and as the lights went off and on, Miller was out of the building. He jumps into his car and zooms off.Later that evening at the Grants residence, Lord Theodore was sitting opposite Levi's table; at his study as he explained the entire scene to him.Levi's eyes scanned Lord Theodore's ears with a frown. “You're such a fucking pussy! He said you should bring your ears close to him and you fucking did?! How foolish could you be?” Levi spat, his eyes glaring at Lord Theodore who was sweating hard like a vegetable.Never in his wildest dreams did he think he would be left with just one ear.“I had no idea he was that dangerous, Lord Levi. What do you think we should do? He promised to be the club’s nightmare….”“Shut up, Theodore… are you even a man?” Levi remarked. Their club was a strong force. No man born of a woman could be a threat to them… they were called the Mighty Men for so many reasons!“He oozes of great power, my friend… you should have seen the way
