Linda's POV(Jay's ex girlfriend):

The car was driving. I was looking out the window with so much joy in my heart.

The long-awaited moment I have dreamt of for many years has finally come and I will make sure nothing and no one can stand in my way and I will get what I desire.

I was sitting in the back seat of the car with Ash, my second son, as we were on our way to his grandfather's mansion.

Ash was looking out the window. He refused to engage in any conversation with me.

I don't know why this boy is so stubborn ,but he has been this way since we left Jay.

It was as if he resented me ,his own mother for taking him away from Jay.

I scoffed, what could Jay possibly give him that his father can't give him double of it.

I wonder why kids refuse to see the bigger picture and always hold on to petty feelings that will do him no good.
