Chapter 39: Not angry.

Jay's pov:

"Stop ,that's enough, you don't need to call the police ,because of this." I told the salesgirl who had already typed the number.

She turned to me surprised by my voice.

"But sir, he stole from the boutique." She cried out in frustration.

I wonder if this girl just wanted to see someone get arrested.

"Did I stutter ,when I told you not to call the police?" I asked her ,she pouted and put her phone away.

"Jay, you should let the police handle this, thieves are bad for business." Samantha said softly.

I know that, but he is a kid.

"You can go to my office and wait for me ,if you are bothered by this." I told Samantha, but she still stood beside me ,as I approached the teenage boy who stole.

"You can go back to your post, you need to attend to customers." I told her salesgirl.

She didn't want to leave at first, but seeing that I was her boss, she couldn't refuse my order ,so she walked away.

"Let him go , you can head back to your post , other things that need your attention."
