Jack chortled at the boy's words and stalked towards the cage. Even though the boy tried to get away, there was only little he could do. Jack caught him and dragged him out roughly.

"Let me go! Daddy loves me the most! He will come for me! Let me go!" The boy didn't stop crying.

PLAK!

"Shut up, you little bastard!" Jack slapped him hard out of frustration.

Noah's tender cheek immediately reddened and swollen. He couldn't make another sound out of fear and cried silently.

Jack indifferently pulled out one of Noah's short hands. "Just how much pain will that bastard feel when I chop off your fingers... I guess we'll just have to find out."

Noah shook his head frantically and cried louder as Jack raised his knife and lowered it speedily.

SLASH!

Noah screamed loudly. However, it wasn't because his finger was chopped off. It was because—

"Gah!" Jack let out a strangled gasp as he staggered backwards, lifting up the bloody stump of his mutilated arm.
