A bucket of water was poured on Andre, a handsome, well-built man who was mopping the floor of the Randana family's luxurious villa.

Martha, Andre's mother-in-law, forced him to divorce Intan. "How many times have I told you, sign the divorce papers quickly! You're a hooligan, you don't deserve to be the son-in-law of the Randana’s family!"

"Divorce? What? I won't divorce Intan even if I die!" Andre snapped at Martha because he had to get hundreds of millions of money for the medical expenses of Suci, his foster mother, who was suffering from an internal disease.

"Intan, look at your contract husband! How dare he defy Mama's words!" Martha's voice was like a bolt of lightning.

Andre looked back, not expecting Intan to be watching their argument from the living room. Without further ado, Intan walked over and slapped Andre three times.

"Heh, you're living here, you contract husband! I'll tell you again, if you mess with Mama, I won't hesitate to tear up that contract. Do you know what happens when the contract is torn up?"

Andre gulped. He was looking for hundreds of millions dollar to cure Suci’s disease.

"Why are you silent? Answer my question, you idiot!" Intan grabbed Andre's chin and pushed him down on the spilled water. "Remember, you're just a contract husband, don't act like one!"

Martha stood up and kicked one of Andre's feet with her glass shoe. "The Randana family never messes around in making decisions. Keep that in mind!"

Andre couldn't resist, he had to do all this for Suci, the person who had taken him in and considered him her biological son.

"Be Patient, myself, there are only two months left. Soon, you’ll be free. Two months is not a long time, really." Andre tried to encourage himself. His contract was only two months away.  

For ordinary people, it may seem fast, but for Andre, those two months were hell. The man clenched his fists in anger.

Initially, Andre worked as a parking attendant and construction worker, but while parking one of the cars in the parking lot, he was suddenly approached by a wealthy woman and was given an offer to marry Intan, the daughter of the wealthy woman.

Intan was two weeks pregnant at the time and they wanted to get her married off to someone just for tarnish the good name of the Randana family. The man who impregnated Intan himself went to America, arguing that he was on business.

Andre accepted the offer and he was contracted to be Intan's husband for one year, at least, until Intan's pregnancy was over.

After that, they would divorce and Andre was promised a huge sum of money, which he would use to pay for Suci’s internal medicine.

As it turned out, it had only been a month since they got married and Intan miscarried.

From then on, the Randana family felt they had no reason to keep Andre in their luxurious home, and their attitude towards him changed 180 degrees, becoming so ugly and inhumane.

They wanted to make Andre divorce Intan and leave. So, they wouldn't have to pay him.

In the contract Andre signed, it was written that the Randana Family's obligation to pay Andre would fall when Andre divorced Intan or left on his own initiative before the contract period ended.

Although the Randana family's treatment of him was getting worse by the day, Andre continued to persevere, because he wanted to get the money.

On the other hand, as he spent more time with Intan, he eventually realized that he was in love with his wife.

Unfortunately for Andre, Intan doesn't like him at all, and even tends to hate him. Intan is not attracted to Andre even though she realizes that Andre is actually handsome and has an ideal body posture.

This is because she still hopes that Steve, her ex-boyfriend who went to America, will one day come back and contact her.

As the evening approaches, the entire family prepares to attend the birthday party of Rika, Intan's grandmother and the leader of the Randana Family and is held at a fancy restaurant in the city center. Only billionaires with a certain amount of wealth can reserve the restaurant, and the Randana Family is one of them.

"Hey dump! You've been mopping the house for so long, look at the clock, what time is it?" Martha came in and immediately cursed Andre. "No wonder Intan wants to divorce you, a husband like you can't be trusted. Slow!"

Andre wiped his sweat, he was too tired from all the chores he had to do.

From cooking three times a day, shopping at the supermarket, sweeping, and even mopping the three-story luxury villa by himself. Andre does it all every day, with no days off.

In addition to completing all the chores around the house, Andre was also charged with being the personal driver of the entire Randana family. There was no time to rest for Andre.

After a full day of housework, she had to take her mother-in-law and sister-in-law out to buy fancy gifts for Rika's birthday.

It didn't stop there, Andre was also asked to pick up Intan during office hours. Waiting for Intan's exit in front of the car, Andre was suddenly approached by an unknown woman.

She was wearing all black, including the glasses she had just taken off. Andre looked at her, like they had met before, but he didn't know when or where. Every time Andre tried to remember who she was, his head felt dizzy.

"Andre, long time no see," the woman greeted.

The man gasped, how could a woman he didn't know suddenly say it had been a long time. "Huh? Are you talking to me?"

Seeing Andre's reaction, the woman was stunned for a few moments.

Andre's skin turned dark due to frequent sunburns, his forehead was full of oil mixed with sweat, his face looked haggard, and his eye bags looked enlarged due to lack of sleep.

That woman is Sofia Daidalos. She is one of the greatest female soldiers recognized by the world. She was happy to meet Andre, but couldn't believe that he had lost his memory.

One of the Golden Dragon's legendary soldiers was found and Sofia was thrilled!

"Mr. Andre, I am Sofia, your right-hand man and personal secretary at the secret headquarters of the world military. You are a man nicknamed 'The Legendary Soldier', the greatest soldier of the world's greatest army called the Golden Dragon."

"Huh? What kind of fairy tale is that?" Andre gaped in disbelief.

"Everything I say is real, the evidence is there. Three years ago when you were asked to lead an expedition on a secret military mission, you were seriously injured, then disappeared without a trace."

After speaking, Sofia gave Andre a card. She also explained that the card could be used for all kinds of transactions, both legal and illegal.

Andre flipped through the business card and put it in his pants pocket. He wiped his sweat with the t-shirt he was wearing. What the woman said made sense, because Andre didn't remember anything from the last three years.

"Mr. Andre can come with me, let's leave this place and return to the Golden Dragon headquarters. I promise I will make your memory recover."

Andre flatly refused. "No need! I'm fed up with the torture of this world. All I need now is to live in peace and heal my foster mother! Hurry up and leave before I get rude!"

Sofia starts to get scared, she slowly backs away, then leaves Andre alone in front of Intan's company office. But before she leaves, Sofia reminds Andre of one thing.

"I can give you as much money as you want, as long as you promise me one thing. You must return to the Golden Dragon before I change my mind."

Andre was dumb founded, how could a foreign woman know the condition of his adoptive mother?
