After gaming away their worries, they strolled around the mall.
Sarah eyes sparkled, she stared at the latest winter attire behind the glass frame. Unconsciously, she wandered inside. Draven left in the background humoured and followed her.
Her eyes grazed the file of clothes, searching for the particular outfit, she saw outside. She ran and felt the soft woollen fabric against her cheek. She flipped the price tag, her face shrank like a deflated balloon and with a hunch, she dragged her feet.
She sighed, glancing down at her own jacket riddled with tiny holes, patched by her unskilled hands.
Every day, she worked and worked. After a long day, she could only sustain her daily bread after paying an exorbitant yet unreasonable protection fee. As a homeless yet ordinary girl, life wasn't fair, but she had to make the best out of it. Gluing the cracks in her armour.
She clenched her hands and whispered to herself "My luck is finally turning around!" thinking about yesterday’s events. Taking one last look, she said "Stay right there! Next month, you will be mine!"
Out of her thought, she looked around and blushed, Draven stood behind her with a meaningful smile. ‘Did he hear me, say that?’
Draven grasped her hand, said "Come on let's go! I need your opinion!"
Draven dragged her to the changing rooms. He asked her to choose some for herself. Draven tried a few clothes and bought them while Sarah stood at the side. "Draven go easy…"
Understanding her worry, Draven calmly replied "It's alright, I have enough! Are you sure you don't want anything? I can afford it!"
She shook her head "No, thanks! I will buy some other day…"
A troupe of security guards in navy blue uniforms confronted them. A guard said "Please come with us"
Draven said "What for?"
"Come, don't blame me for being rude" a guard said.
Another guard said "You are under arrest for fighting and disturbing the peace within the mall"
A couple of guards raised their batons and activated their powers.
Vernon said "Don't fight back, they are all level 3 and the leader is level 4!"
"So what? I can easily upgrade my power level to level 3" Draven said.
Vernon said "No, you can't afford a level 3 and there is a big difference between level 1 and 4"
"What!!! You mean I can lose!"
"There is a 20% chance you will survive if you run and a 7% chance if you fight" Vernon calculated.
"Is there anything that will give me a huge power up or something" Draven said, gritting his teeth, while glancing at Sarah. ‘Should I run? No. I can’t... wouldn’t I be a scum if I did after all she has done for me?’
‘There has to be another way!’ Draven contemplated his options.
Sarah shook his shoulder, said "Draven, please let's just go with them!"
A bright light fell on them, a melodious voice said "Hold it right there!"
The lights dimmed, two files of guards marched forward and split to the sides, as a girl strutted from the middle, her golden locks bounced against her shoulder.
The guards growled like rabid dogs “Who the f* are you? How dare you aid these two…"
She shouted "Silence!"
They quietened down. She opened her purse, and pulled out a slate of marble, a white lion projected with a thunderous roar, showing off the regal crest of her family.
In disbelief, they blurted "Miss Alexyav"

With an awkward chuckle, the captain stepped forward. “Ugh… Miss… is there anything wrong?”
"Is there anything wrong? Of course, there is something wrong" she said.
"Few hours ago, I saw something interesting" she said glancing at Sarah.
"Uhh" The captain gulped under her accusing stare.
"And when my frie…” she paused, thinking of a way to address Draven and Sarah. “My schoolmates were in trouble, where were you?"
He said "Well, we weren't there at the scene but we have received reports of them…"
She questioned him "From who? I myself was there and saw your men loafing around. I even have the video to prove it."
She continued "My father is one of the major shareholders of this mall. Dare to lie to me again? and I swear, I will make your already shitty lives shit!"
They crawled on their knees and begged "Please, please Miss. Spare us Miss Alexyav, we will do anything!"
A hand on her chin, she said "I wonder what should I do with such worthless dogs?"
She glanced at Draven and Sarah, hinting them to speak with her eyes.
Flustered, Sarah stuttered "Miss, I don't think... I want them to do anything for me... since they didn't hurt us in anyway..."
Draven wanted to say something completely outlandish and rip them off clean; but since his elder sister has spoken, he swallowed words.
The girl nodded, said "You really have a good heart, but are you sure you don't want to punish them?" while internally, she was fascinated by her pure heart.
Sarah nodded, to confirm her decision.
The guards hearing the conversation, truly regretted for not protecting such a sweetheart but were filled with immerse gratitude. 'Maybe, we will be left off lightly!' they thought collectively.
"Okay, I won't kill them but from today onwards they are no longer guards of the Crezix Mall and are black listed forever!" she declared, pouring a bucket of cold water.
Her bodyguard teleported in front of them and handcuffed them and teleported them in a frame of second.
She signalled with her hand, the guard around her, made themself scarce and blended with the customers while vigilantly tagged behind their lady and her company.
A troupe of girls separated from the crowd and joined her.
Sarah ran towards her with Draven. "Thank you for helping us, Miss"
Swaying her hand, she said "It wasn't a big deal... besides you did me a favour!"
Her regal aura shifted into a friendly and welcoming one, she said "By the way don't call me Miss"
"My name is Livia Alexyav. Just call me, Livia"
Sarah said "Thank you, Livia"
Livia said "You don't need to thank me. if it really bothers you then join me for lunch"
"So, what is your names?" Livia asked.
Sarah introduced Draven and herself to her helpers.
They chatted, while heading to the food court.
Instead of stopping at the third floor, they went further to a guarded checkpoint.
Sarah said "Livia, why are we going to the fourth floor?"
Livia's friend, Irina said "Well, this floor is exclusive to the VIPs and elites!"
Sarah said "Oh, I see!"
Livia stepped on the scary yet, elegant glass escalator, it was almost like stepping on thin air.
Before they could take another steep, they were detained entry, but were soon let go, once Livia vouched for them.
Like a country girl visiting the city, Sarah gasped, setting her gaze on the wonders before her. The ceiling was littered with crystals, the hall occasionally transformed into different themes. And currently, they were strolling down the street of Paris of the 21st century.
Were fascinated by the historic projection, Draven nor Sarah had ever been to the fourth floor. On this floor, it was a completely different world, they passed the antique looking shops and restaurants.
Livia took them to a fancy five-star restaurant, oddly a robot waiter led them to their table, disrupted his image; reminding him, this was but a projection.
Once they took their seats, a holographic screen popped and showed a transmission of the head chef.
"Dear patrons, what would you like?"
A menu materialized on the table.
Through the panel, they spoke their orders. Sarah was confused, reading of through these strange names, Livia saw her struggle and suggested her to try the Chef's recommendation.
Ten minutes of waiting, the food was served, starting from the appetisers to the main course.
Unlike the rest, Sarah was over the moon. She hummed in delight, for the first experiencing such luxury on her taste buds. She looked at Livia with stars in her eyes, seeping of gratitude.
Livia just shrugged and continued eating like a noble woman.
Draven, wiped his mouth after eating.
Intrigued, Draven said "What do you mean by 'We did you a favour!' ?"
Livia replied "I have heard complaints of the guards misusing their powers. Instead to being the enforcer of justice, they bend their backs over for criminals and endanger my customers and my reputation!" with a righteous anger, she slammed her fist against the table.
She said "Pardon me!"
"But, thanks you guys, I now have evidence, it will be much easier to fire and replace them"
Irina noticed his table manners, said "Draven, you dine just like an elite!"
Draven said "Oh, thanks Irina"
Irina probed him "So Draven, are you an elite like us?"
The girls stared at him and eagerly waited for his answer.
Draven tilted his visage from their gazes, had a sip of wine. "I was just copying you guys!"
Thought none at the table believed his excuse, but didn't mention since he was just a Bedouin in the vast desert.
In the deep spaces of his mind, darkness lurked. Flesh and blood aren't enough to satisfy the great demon, rather the torment of the soul. "Oh, how much I crave for a much tender and succulent soul to feast on..." Through an eerie forest, a dark shadow walked, a blood curdling scream came from below, the still lake. The hoarse wails and the clanging of chains, it was music to his ears. He strolled into the grand palace; his footsteps echoed through the halls. He pushed the giant arched doors and walked to the throne. His subjects chanted his name. 'All hail Kalaraja, Kalaraja... Karlaraja' Detached. Kalaraja passed his chained captives, kneeling on the cold floor. He lounged in his purple cushioned throne, rested a leg on the black armrest. He raised his hand, they stopped chanting. The prisoners then lifted their heads to see their tormentor. They fainted. Underneath his long, blood hair, lied a vicious grin. With hung

The whistle resounded, signalling the third match. The third match, wasn’t going to be a walk in a park. The opposing line up, had three high-end performers. Kayla, Matthew and Shawn, the Tank. Tank wasn't a nickname but a title. For the strongest, muscle headed superhuman of each year. Draven expression turned grim, the crowd in the stands changed their tunes, as their cheers rebervated the air. (loud) A lanky, nerd led his team to the other side. The whistle blew again. At first glance, Shawn may not look much. The lanky teen tossed his thick framed glasses, and his facials muscles contorted as they inflated, double the size. His height shot to ten feet, gigantic muscles sprouted, stretching his flexible clothing. He roared, drumming his rippled chest. The spectators roared along. He slammed his fists on the ground, the balls rebounded. Grabbing the balls in the air and threw them hard, rocketed through the air. In a
During the break, An enthusiastic boy said "Blake why didn't you just freeze everyone with your power!" Blake dryly replied "Dude, that will be going against the rules" and slouched back, with crossed arms. "Draven, who do you think is a better fire user?" You or Natalia?" Painted orange, the sun shimmered in, through the gloomy windows, the curtains danced with the breeze. As the light razed though the shadows, filling it with an orange hue. In the middle, seated a plush recliner, he swirled the wine in his hand, he sighed, staring at the celling. A dreamy smile etched on his gleaming face. "Oh, my Baby… oh my, you are a feisty" His chuckle reverberated through the room. His flagrant eyes unfurled, from the light shuffle of feet. Outside the greyish room, Climbing up, her heels clicked against the wooden stairs. "Good afternoon, young lady" an elderly butler said. Stone-face, she replied "Afternoon, Wilson. Is my brother inside?" Wilson said "Yes, Young master is inside, he must be resting" "Thank you, you may leave" Wilson bowed and disappeared her sight with quick strides down. Facing his door, her beautiful face contorted into a haggard, scarecrow. <
Karisa switched the lights on, their heels clicked against the carpeted floor, they walked into the homely living room, furnished with cream leather and mahogany coffee table, pink flowers; facing a screen of glass, inspicously blended with the white walls, styled with scenic paintings. She clicking on the heaters. "Make yourself at home" He hit the couch. Karisa was in the kitchen, preparing dinner. Bored, his lazy eyes roamed, before spotted something within the pile of magazines and books under the coffee table. He sneaked a glance at the kitchen, sneakily lifted the magazines and found several iCubes and USBs. The Orange company created the iCube, more like a CD in the shape of a cube and can store 5D and holographic movies. He snickered, perusing through the titles. Without the notion of privacy, he snooped through her secret collection. A soft chuckle resounded the room, he slowly put them in order, exactly like i
"Those bastards" swiftly he paced himself forward, fluttering his lab coat with a fierce air. The operators paused their work and made way for him while the supervisor and the captain argued. Luis stood before them with a stern face. "Ahem" He turned to Luis with a wry smile, said. "Ah, Professor" "What are you two doing? Get back to your duties. I will handle this," Luis said, and stepped in front of the controls. "Yes." The supervisor pecked his head like a hen as he retreated. "Capt. Davis, activate the defence mechanism, A-103 and code P456" "Yes, Sir" Capt. Davis said. He pulled a slide from control panel and twisted it before he punched it in. A teal light beamed around the borders. "Defence activated" While on the outside, a transparent membrane shot from thefrontof ship and converged to the end, pushing the nearby rocks away. Luis hands typed codes on screen and slammed
On a funnel of space and light creates a wondrous image, as millions and millions of extra-terrestrial bodies compete, pushing themselves past the obscurity of the distance and the darkness of the space. In a void, a silver blimp flashed through the cluster of rocks. Cannons on the sides rotated and fired. Thousands of rays converged and struck the ginormous space rock. It exploded into thousands of fragments. The ship heaved itself through the cloud of dust, particles ticketed against the surface, drumming on the screen of glass. He tilted his head back, dishevelling his golden hair against the glass as his body spasmed into a chuckle. "Hehe, that was a good one. " A finger flicked the photo across the holographic screen to the next one. Pride refracted in his jay-blues while he appraised the moment. He hummed in remembrance. A crystal cup lifted above his head, sparking brilliance between him and his team, while a girl kissed his cheek under the rain of confetti.A p
Draven honestly said. “I do want to enter one of the Big Five but I am not sure on which one”“Then I can help you” Luis cleared his throat and tossed a cube in Draven’s direction. The cube rolled and morphed into a comfy couch. He signalled for him to take a seat. Draven silently settled himself on the couch and listened.“Each of the Big five have their own speciality, like Luturian Alchemy Academy, which focuses on Alchemy. Sure, there are many alchemy-based universities, but what they lack is the quality of professors, lectures, or the ability to gain resources. Which will be used to nurture their seedlings and naturally bring them fame and reputation across the universe”“Entrium University is known as the number one on white paper because they normally recruit the children of the elite and have the backing of many high-net-worth individuals and families”“So, it is a playground of snotty br

Coach said, stumped by his situation, he pondered and said. "Maybe, Draven will be fine!""Yes, come one let go see Draven!!" Chad shouted, and like a mob the students pushed Coach along with them.
Draven asked."Anyway, do you guys know who won the match?""Nope, we rushed here as soon you got teleported out! I was worried something happened to you again!" Becky said."What do you mean again?" Amelia asked, clueless about the previous events since Abby didn't inform them of his situation."Its nothing" Becky shook her head."So, the match is going on?"Amelia said. "I think, before I left, Osborne was fighting that McFerreen guy."Rushed footsteps echoed within the halls. Draven shifted his gaze to the door. Arkon entered with a howl. "Hello, son!" while his family followed behind with big smiles. "Oh, my baby," a woman in an elaborate dress exclaimed and moved past her children all the way to his bed."Hi, Dad. Mom?
Next second later, light flashed, couple of bodies fell onto the bed. Emergency lights flicked around the room. Draven blinked, staring at the ceiling with one thought. "Did I win? Or did I lose?" He shifted his head to the side, the door swung open, as a team of nurses and doctors approached the beds. Draven was about to speak, a nurse said. "Doctor, this patient is in a critical condition." "Hmm" the doctor turned from Draven's bed and headed to the bed in the corner. They huddled around, examining the patient. "Doctor, a weird infection seems to be spreading over from his external wounds. I think he is poisoned." Grim expression, the doctor ran a hand scanner down his body."Bythe metrics
"Just do it," Draven shouted. They hesitated before they clicked forfeit. A light befell and teleported them out."Now let's fight!" Pablo flexed his gamma muscles and his feet launched himself forward with a powerful shock wave, adding cracks to the ice.In a blink of an eyes, he shot from one point with an outstretched fist. Draven dropped to a roll. A leg flew to Draven's face. Fire rocketed his soles to the sky. He swayed his sword and shot beams of energy.Pablo sprung into the air, the rays deflected off his chest and from his eyes; he shot gamma rays.Draven tilted his body away and countered with a freeze ray. Draven thought. 'I need to figure out a way to defeat him without contaminating myself.'Draven asked. "Vernon. Does life force absorption work on radio
Fire swirled around his legs, Draven stepped forward, leavingtrailsof puddles in his path. Pablo slowly picked himself. "How can you say I am finished when I haven't even played my next card?"Draven's eyebrows lifted in alertness, "What?" and stepped back.Poison radiated from his pores, his armour melted down to his legs, glowing a radioactive light.A sudden dread hit his core. Reaching the end of the berg, the horses neighed and jumped across the large stretch of water and continued galloping. Their bands beeped as they got closer to the Hellhound's location.Seeing figures far in the distance, Pablo grinned and drew out his axe. The others followed and drew out their weapons."Let's rush to victory!"The horses jumped across and their hooves sank in the snow. Controlling their powers, the horses galloped above the snowy water. Suddenly, ice beams sprung from the ground and struck few of them, triggering the safety system and teleported them out, leaving the rest out of formation.A beam sprung before him, Pablo reined it back, the horse lifted itself to a stop; fluttering his fur cape. Pablo signalled them to spread out, a freezing ray shot straight to him. Pablo jumped off
