Double-Timing

"I am tired, let's finish this shit" Draven joined his fingers and stretched them.

Flames converged from his back and ended on his soles. An enormous flaming cone materialized and Draven gripped it. Purple currents spiraled in his palms, Osborne clicked his rocket boots and they both levitated, ready to invade.

They flew straight to the fortress. The birdman above screeched, shooting continuous sonic loops through the air. Draven and Osborne thrusted themselves higher to the ceiling, dodging the attack. Osborne tossed a bolt of lightning.

A forcefield shielded him, negating the bolt. The birdman screeched, they skirted to the side, Draven formed a fire cone in his hands and grew into the size of an automobile and swatted him down.

He fell from the sky and a group of seniors diverted their attention from the ground invaders and a fraction of their forces started throwing earth spears.
