Forcing Out Her Card

Kai whipped his tail. She jumped back. Before she could strum her next string, he spat fire. She rolled on the ground and ducked to a stone. Kai spat water on the blazing stone. It cracked into pieces. She ran out and strung the string. A note shot through. A fire shield appeared in front of his scaly face. He swiped his front claw, sending a set of crossed fire swipes.

Her tails converged on her whole body. She shrunk into a ball and avoided the blow. Kai’s eyes gleamed, he rushed and swung his claws down; she rolled out of his attack and popped behind a tree.

“AHHH!! Stop running!” Kai growled. He stamped his paw. Fire sprouted off the ground, blowing her off her balance, throwing her weapon away. Kai grinned and dashed to block her path.
