Draven pressed a button, shifting the car to manual mode, he gripped the steering wheel and turned to park his new car at the side of the road. He walked out of the purple door with a duffle bag around his arm.
Seeing him before her, her eyes lit up, she shouted "Hey, Kid!"
Resting a hand on the rail, he stood still; seeing a familiar beauty emanate from his apartment.
His forehead creased in offense, in a flat tone “Oh. Hi!"
Noticing his mood, she persisted and sweetly said "Sorry hunk, I am a bit forgetful. What's your name again? I hope it wasn’t hunk?" bending her back, intentionally letting him see her cleavage.
His expression lightened, he replied "Draven. And you?”
With a dazzling smile, she exclaimed “You forgot… me? Moi?”
“Yeah”
She sighed “Whatever, It’s me, Becky”
He said “Oh” not surprised, for her name never slipped off his mind.
"So, Draven why didn't you answer my calls? I have been
I hope you like this chapter... wink. But after this chapter there won't be any explicit scenes and if there are it will always be cropped. For the author doesn't want to be famed as an erotic writer. Anyway, like and drop gems for the author or for the characters! ;) :)
Deep in the forest, Focusing the rife, the bush crinkled. Crouching on the forest floor, she locking her lens on her prey. She smirked 'Too easy' and pulled the trigger, a beam of light shot through the obstacles easily and before the bear could even growl, his head exploded; splattering a tree trunk crimson. *Thud* "Hehe... Did you see that?" She spoke over her walkie-talkie. Impressed, Draven soon replied "Yes, I did! A perfect head-shot! Now it's my turn!" "Yeah, this totally deserves a hundred points" "Good luck" she said before signing off. "Hehe" Draven grinned, adjusting himself on the branch, using his aura vision. He detected a bird flying nearby, extending his rife, he flicked it and said through his walkie-talkie "Watch the sky!" "Okay" she replied. With great patience, he then held himself still, releasing a breath, he fired. A second later, the aura faded, a dead bird fell from the sky.
Hot steam rise from the flask, traveling through the tubes and ended to the leather sac above, it puffed into a balloon. Once full, Becky replaced it with another one, sealing them tightly into ten gas bombs and twenty bombs. She stood, arching her back into a long stretch. "Dravenn~ sweetie! I am done!" He returned to her side with quick strides. "Sorry for keeping you waiting... we will soon have our fun" she grinned, pressing something into his hands. Taking a peek, he said "What are these?" She replied "Smoke bombs, smell concealer and grenades, specially created by yours truly! Hehe" unconsciously, her ears stretched for his praise. "Wow, did you make these yourself? This is amazing!" Draven said, truly impressed by her ingenuity. "Yup, made from my original recipe!" Becky tilted her head slightly higher, waiting for his rain of praise. Draven gave her his most brilliant smile, said "Baby, you are a genius!" <
Draven jumped on it back, wrapping the beast around his legs, he wrings its neck. "Damn it!" Draven tightly clutched its neck, riding it like a rodeo machine. The ant screeched; calling for help. The other ants rushed to deal the insect on their brother's back. Draven heated his body, it turned red like magma… the ant wailed across the floor died with a severed neck. Enraged, the others nearby, blocked his exit and spit molten gold. Draven teleported; pulling out his plasma gun and accurately fired five shots, hitting straight to their hearts and tossed a grenade behind the fire wall; dealing minor damage to the rest. As his fire overreacted with the explosion; Draven absorbed it back into his palms and quickly extracted the beast cores with a stab of his sword and stored them in his spatial pouch while waiting for the next wave. Becky creeped behind him and embraced his back "Wow baby, that was some hot stuff! I almost thought you were a goner…
After an hour of continuous harvesting, they both ploughed to the ground, resting their backs against each other; deep in the ant colony. Becky uncapped a vial and gulped it down, passed it to Draven "You want some?" Draven said "Uh, what is this?" "Recovery potion" she said with a smile. "Oh, thanks" he drank down the remaining content. While his muscles were recovering, Draven checked his system notifications. Becky was busy typing her experience on the tablet. [Mission: Accomplished] Kill 100 Golden crustacean ants Reward: Mystery Box (Silver) Feeling apprehensive, Draven asked "A mystery box? What do you think I will get?" Vernon flicked wax off his earbud, said "Anything, even a lump of clay" "Clay?" Vernon said "Yeah, that is if you are unlucky! But since this is of a silver grade, there might be something useful" Vernon said "Do you want to open it? Yes/No" Draven thought 'I don't
Becky nibbed her tongue, and gently tilted his chin, as the light in her steady-fast and solemn greys pierced his dead blinkers. "Draven, do you trust me?" Hesitating for a while, he said "No" Anxious, she lightly squeezing his hand. "Why?" Gritting his teeth, Draven hesitated to talk. "It's okay… go on!" "I don't, because you are such a suspicious character" "Suspicious?" she blinked for a while, said "Even you are a doable stranger in my opinion?" Draven said "Then why did you offer those services?" She giggled. "Isn't it simple? I have liked you for a long time… from far" gazing to the sky. Humoured, he suppressed his chortle "How long?" "A year or two" she randomly said a figure, when honestly it wasn’t much. "Really?" he sized her, still suspicious of her intentions but thinking about it, he didn't understand why would someone want to be with a broke dude like him? She silently nodde
Becky suggested "Do you want to stop him?" while her body showed zero empathy, she yawned like she was watching a history channel. Draven gaze shifted from the scene to her with a devilish grin, revealing the opportunist in him. Reading his intentions, she sent back an equally cunning smile. like vultures, they sat back and watched the show. With another brutal kick to the ribs, the young man rolled from his oppressor. Leaning his foot on his belly, the brute said "Tell me where it is and I will spare your pathetic life" with a rife pointed to his head. An unyielding quality in his narrowed eyes shoneout of his battered body; his body was down but not his spirit. With his pettystrength, he cocked his neck and spat the man's face. Wiping the spit with a heavy palm and flicked it off his face with a grunt. "Hehe... is this your answer?" "I will never surrender it to you!" The brute grinned "Those are some words
Zeno's expression turned grave, snuffing out the tranquillity in the air with a princely aura as his eyebrows shot up. "What do you want?" Draven slumped against the chair, said "You know what I want" Shaking his head, Zeno said "Sorry, anything else but that!" Draven persuaded "Shouldn't you be grateful to your savoir for saving your priceless life?" amplifying his voice at the end. "How can I be grateful with these?" he said, frisking the cuffs behind him. "Touché. Anyway, I do prefer a formal discussion, to keep things fair!" Draven drank his bottle of water, with the suave of a cultured man. Crossing the distance with short strides. He bended and untied his wrists. "Ahem. What about my feet?" "I just felt it was a pain to untie it!" Draven said, showing his thick skin. "Whatever... much better" Zeno said, relieving his sore wrists. Draven walked back to this seat. "Excuse me, uh what happened to my clothes?"
While they were sneaking closer, Becky rolled her eyes at Zeno's clumsy footwork. Internally, she compared him to Draven 'Hmph. What an idiot? Is he even trying? Why can't he be like Draven and walk carefully? From my reports, Draven is only skilled in fire. But also shows promise in skirmish fights, tactics and combat power' 'Now I see why Master asked me to look after him. Master always has an eye for talent!' she thought, developing a better impression of Draven. Due to Zeno following the training regimen of his clan, he developed a robust and heavy body which is incapable to fight light and fast as it focuses solely on giving the practitioner high defence and strong offense. The only reason Draven was able to keep up with a seasoned assassin was due to the system, Vernon proposed him to buy a new skill called wind steps. *Beep* Draven opened the system.
