Think About It

A hover car pulled to the side of a road, switched the engine off. Arkon stared down at his steering wheel, said “Sorry, son”

“Dad?”  

“I wasn’t able to convince him.” He took a glance at his reaction.

“I sorry, it will take some time… to come home”

Draven turned his head to the window. The glass reflected his genuine emotions. “No, dad I am sorry! I shouldn’t have assumed that, that”

“I understand… but you should know I never abandoned you”

“Besides, grandpa is aging. So, it won’t be long before he dies!”

“You mean two more decades.” Draven laughed.

“Hey, it could be sooner,” lightly jabbing his son’s shoulder. 

“Maybe.” Draven chuckled and unstrapped his seatbelt.

 “Thanks for the ride,”

“Yeah
