Skyler slowly made her way to the front, she knew all Mr Timothy wanted to do was to embarrass her in front of everybody. Her slow steps took her to the front where she sat down.

“Yes?” She asked when she reached the front.

“I see that instead of you listening in my class, you're busy chatting with your boyfriend in the back.”

She felt very embarrassed, and even more so for Raul. Almost the entire class turned to face him and some people laughed.

The three girls who were sitting in front were also laughing and looking at her. She felt anger bubbling within her because these girls were also making noise, in fact more noise than she was making. Yet Timothy turned a blind eye to it.

“So you will be solving the next equation,” he said with a smile and handed the marker over to her.

She raised her head to look at the board. He hadn't taught them this topic, yet alone teaching them how to solve this equation.
