Valerie and Ethan jumped on their feet upon hearing what the little boy was saying. Timothy also got up with a worried expression on his face. “Oh no, my daughter!”

The moment they stepped out of the house, they could hear the commotion coming from a distance and quickly began making their way there.

Police sirens filled the air as officers came out of their cars holding shields and hoses to wash down anyone who dared to protest in front of the Roger corps property.

The locals however were not deterred, they were fighting for their rights and nothing would make them back down.

Some police officers were manhandling the protesters and even throwing canisters of tear gas.

“That's enough!” Ethan's voice boomed from the background. His voice was thick and carrying authority.

All the activities paused, even the protesters seized their chanting and the cops stood still. Everyone held their breath as Ethan's eyes scanned through the scenery.

“What's going on here?”
