The chirping of the birds woke him from his deep slumber. He didn’t move for a while and listened to their beautiful chirping for a while. Then, he yawned, and stretched his arms and legs as he rolled on his back, then pushed himself up and opened his eyes.
“Good morning,” Caille’s voice sounded from his left.
“Good morning,” He responded with a sleepy voice, then paused, blinked a few times, and then realised just what was going on. “Wait, what?” he muttered as he flinched and looked to the source of the voice.
Caille was sitting on a large rock. Her oversized hat was placed next to her, and she was busy braiding her very long, green hair. “What’s wrong? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.” She said as if everything was perfectly normal.
