The elven leader took much convincing, and the other elves even more. They protested at first, because they liked it here. The forest was gigantic, thick, and filled with life. The lake was the most beautiful blue it could be, and this was the home of these unicorns. It wouldn’t do to move up to the barren plateau, they cried. Where would their trees be?
But their lives were on the line, and they were not stupid – they knew the plateau was the safest place to be. Kyle promised to help them with the move, as well as help them grow their ideal forest by the river. It took a while, but eventually, they accepted.
