Before Kal started his hunting career, he had to do different types of jobs to earn money so he can eat. He didn't have time to have fun since he always took his jobs as priority. The only source of entertainment he had was watching TV. When he do night shifts in grocery stores. The news would always be about hunters and sanctum. He idolized powerful hunters and always see himself as an ant compared to them. He was fascinated by their martial arts, their prowess and how amazing they looked in TV.
