At the Happy Snack Bar, Cindy intended to have a private conversation with Jackson, but was almost scared to death when she discovered her boyfriend in the same place, just when Matthew had just said that they were supposed to avoid confusion.

Clayton thought the irony of the situation lay in the fact that Cindy was the journalist who sowed the seed of discord.

But for Jackson, the danger was that he wanted to talk to his friend’s girlfriend without his knowledge!

Matthew turns around and finds a frozen Cindy at the door. “Honey, come in! What a coincidence, we were just talking about you.”

“About me?” Cindy walks in, her eyes wider than before, “You were talking about avoiding trouble. How come I’m the one causing this?”

“And let’s pretend we’re blind and stupid.” Matthew chuckles as he wraps his arm around his girlfriend.

Clayton frowns. He preferred Matthew with Patricia, but his friend chose the indiscreet journalist... “Miss, don’t you know that you acted very badly in publishing

He’s a celebrity now, remember that.”Hélio wrinkles his nose, “Let’s see how long this lasts.”Patricia sighs, trying to hide the deal she made. Walter was surprised to be stopped by Jackson. The newly famous man smiled charismatically, but Walter could feel that there was a protective-older-brother tone in his voice.“Good evening, Jackson.” Walter shakes his shoulder, letting go, “I just want to talk to your sister.”“What’s wrong? You made a face...” Jackson continued to smile.“Do you agree with what’s happening?” Walter points to Patricia and Ronaldo, “They’re both very close.”“It seems like they forgot to tell us they’re dating, but I’m cool with that,” Jackson states nonchalantly.“Well, I’m not.” Walter has a stern look on his face, “As I know Matt’s thoughts, I know he wouldn’t approve of your sister behaving like that. If this continues, you’ll be forced to set a date for the wedding so the bride doesn’t show up with a big belly.”Jackson breaks his smile. “Walter Andrade, I would appreciate your concern for my sister, but you mentioned Matt. I couldn’t post or interact with my subscribers.” Jackson frowns.“And why would you think it was me?” Matthew asks mockingly.“I’m shooting everywhere. I’ve thought about you, I’ve thought about Ricardo Montegrande, I’ve thought about Nathan... but I don’t know, you’re the most likely person if I think without emotion.”Matthew is surprised by Jackson’s boldness. Yes, if Matthew and Jackson weren’t friends, it would be logical for Jackson to conclude that it was Matthew. If Cindy sees this...!“I told one of the servants that you asked me to get your cell phone that was in here and he directed me.” Patricia responds as if she were a naughty girl, “Then I saw the door was unlocked.”“OK, you’ve seen my room—”“ROOM?” Patricia laughs, gesturing around, “You call this a bedroom? It looks bigger than my old house, Matt. You have four rooms in this ‘bedroom’ of yours. An entry room, bathroom, closet, and the bedroom itself where is this comfortable bed.”Matthew remains uncomfortable seeing Patricia sitting on the bed where he makes love to Cindy. “You better get up. I think it’s enough for you and Mom to live in with Victor until you buy new stuff.”Vicente chuckled. “Yeah, I think we’ll survive with old furniture until then.”“At least the monetization from your channel—”Vicente’s expression darkened, cutting him off. “Son, the last thing on my mind right now is that damned career.”His eyes drifted toward the piano in the corner, a symbol that once meant everything to him, now just a reminder of what had gone wrong.Nathan sighed. “Dad, you’re aiming your anger at the wrong target.”Vicente’s voice grew quiet. “Your mother suspects Karl might’ve been behind the ‘accident.’”That made Nathan pause, rubbing his chin as he considered it. “I hadn’t thought of that.”“Sergeant Carva

As the afternoon light waned into the beginnings of dusk, Vicente stood by the window of Andreia's hospital room in the Andrade Clinic. He drew the curtains open again, gazing at the sky, which had started to clear after the storm. The clouds were retreating, leaving behind hints of a serene night.“Looks like we’ll have a starry night, at least,” he said, hopeful.“But it won’t be warm,” Andreia replied from her bed, her voice calm but weary.Vicente turned to her and walked closer, the fluorescent hospital light casting a soft glow on his concerned face.“Sweetheart, do you see now that Nate might be right about us not staying at the beach house to take care of Victor?”Andreia nodded, resigned. “Victor would cry nonstop with the wind slamming against the roof and that creepy foam all around.”“Then it’s settled,” Vicente said, gently. “Moving to the apartment Nate found for us is probably for the best.”She shifted slightly, uneasy. “There’s just one thing that worries me about thi

Eventually, Paulina managed to peel back enough of the layers to reveal Walter’s head, shoulders, and chest. From Paulina’s perspective, Walter was a sight to behold — grinning like a mischievous boy, sweaty, flushed, undeniably sexy. Once again, Paulina had to resist the overwhelming temptation to dive into that cocoon and take her daughter’s place!“Mrs. Alvares, thank you so much for your help,” Walter said, still catching his breath.Paulina stammered, “N-no problem... You should go before Ernie comes back.”“And what about Linda?” he asked.“I’ll tell him she’s resting.”She cast a glance at the blanket pile concealing her daughter, clearly either passed out or fast asleep after the relentless pounding she’d endured since the previous night.
