"Chris, you monster!" Lucas shouted at Christian with an uncontrollable rage looking at Ivan knocked out unconscious, "I'll not leave you today."

But before they could react, Christian felt another wave of strange power passing in him.

It was like a current of energy coursing through his veins, uncontrollable, wild. His vision blurred, his head started throbbing with sudden pain.

Greg and another guy, Lucas, were thrown backward as if an invisible force had knocked them off their feet.

Their bodies crashed into the ground, rolling several feet before coming to a stop.

Lucas groaned, clutching his ribs as he rolled over, his eyes wide with disbelief.

Gregg coughed violently, trying to push himself up but collapsing back onto the floor. Gasps and whispers filled the air,

"What just happened?"

"How come Christian became so strong?"

Christian gasped, stumbling back, as he checked his hands in surprise, "What the hell was that? What exactly did I do?"

He didn’t have time to figure

"Mom gave you to me, you always made me feel warm even in absence of mom, but I never felt this before, I'm always hearing your voice whenever I'm in danger, to think of it as my imagination, things feel too real to be an imagination, if the voice I hear is real, then who are you? As the manager left after a glance at Charles, Christian stared at Charles's face with confusion, "Is everything okay?" "Umm, I think so, but give me a moment, kid," Charles said as he stood to leave. "I need to speak with someone real quick, if you don't feel okay being here, you can wait outside for me."
