"Years of friendship, Mia," Christian spoke in a trembling voice with a mix of disbelief and sadness inwardly, "And is this what you understood about me? After everything, is this what you think of me?"

"Maybe," he said slowly, a voice mirroring his sorrow, "maybe I expected too much from you, maybe I believed in a version of you that doesn’t exist anymore."

His eyes glancing at the screen of the mobile, "Or maybe you forgot about our friendship long ago, it's time to say goodbye to everything!"

But what he still couldn't understand was her words from an earlier conversation, just then he opened his laptop and surfed through the internet hoping he would find something regarding what Mia has talked about.
