Chapter 22 : Searching For Evidence (3)

After leaving Daniel, Steve returned to the parking lot, where their car was parked. He stood beside the car, leaning on his body, which somehow felt so tiring.

The sunlight that was at the top of his head and the air that felt quite hot certainly made him feel uncomfortable.

Feeling overheated, Steve took out his cell phone from his pants pocket. He turned the flat thing on and searched for Terry's contact information in his phone list. He happened to have the guy's number after dyeing his hair yesterday.

Once he got Terry's contact, Steve immediately pressed the green receiver button, calling the man. The sound of the phone ringing rang in his ears.

On the first ring, Terry didn't pick up the phone, nor did the second ring. This made him feel frustrated. He clicked his tongue with an annoyed look on his face.

"Where is that man? Why isn't he picking up my calls?" He grumbled while puffing out his cheeks.

Steve tried again to call Terry. He v
