Chapter 75: Conditions

Steve immediately approached Kai with a serious look. Once the distance between the two was close, Steve swallowed the food left in his mouth.

"Sure, I heard it even though it was just a faint sound."

That remark made Kai breathe a sigh of relief. He put his bread on his lap. "What did you hear?"

"I only heard the phrase, please remember my name." Steve thought hard to remember what Kai had just said.

"The next, I don't know, because your voice was so quiet."

Kai smiled slightly as he stood up from his sitting position. This, of course, made Steve frown. "Where are you going?"

"I have to go home. I just remembered there's another event today," Kai scratched his unitchy head awkwardly.

"Is it okay if I explain about investments and such tomorrow?"

Steve laughed awkwardly. He felt bad for Kai because his intention was to meet with X. "Of course. You can teach me when you have free time."

"Then I'll leave first. See you later."
