Chapter Hundred

“So, Mr. Aidan, she's stable but not out of the woods yet” Dr. Alex came out and told him. He was the chief medical doctor of a lesser hospital in the City next to Madam Doris but people rarely came to him because he was invincible, thanks to Madam Doris.

”She was dosed with a heavy portion of sleeping pills, probably to keep her calm. The bruises on her hand are from a dislocation…” Dr. Alex; the owner of the hospital helicopter airlifted them to say to him.

“She’ll be fine. The dislocation was as a result of manhandling her. I have ordered some X-rays and tests which would show us if she has any other broken bones. But in the meantime, we need to fix the dislocation” He gulped and walked close to Aidan, about to tap him on his back. But he retracted and shrugged off.

“I'm sorry Sir, but I will do the very best I can to keep her well and safe,” He said nervously as he said his dead cold gray eyes.

“You better!” He growled. “Or it’ll be your head on the chopping block”
