Chapter Twenty-Two

He got into his Bentley and banged the door. He held the steering wheel tightly and screamed to release the anger packed inside of him. The car was soundproofed and tinted, so no one could hear or even see his screams.

He was brought back by a knock on his car window, he stepped down. It was one of the officers followed by Mr. Raymond.

"He described Kay, with the sketch, he would soon be apprehended." The police officer assured Aidan.

"The girls, are they okay?" Aidan drawled as he asked the officer, sympathy plastered across his face.

The officer who had already turned to leave stopped and spun around to him.

"They're going to be ok, thanks to you. One of them said they came here on their own accord, we've already alerted the parents." He tapped his shoulders reassuring Aidan. "Don't worry, we'll handle everything."

"I'm sorry I couldn't get to her on time." Mr. Raymond said despondently. "If only I had worked faster…"

"You did all you could. We are going to find her" Aidan reassur
