Osvaldo stood at the balcony as he stared at Laurel who was currently picking out some leaves from the garden. He had gotten a lot better and although he still felt slight pains each time he tried to move his shoulders, he was a lot more stronger.

With his eyes, he followed Laurel who walked straight into the kitchen and almost immediately, she walked out with a small plate that laid on a tray.

He walked back inside the moment he realized that she was coming over to his room and just as he did, a smile curved on his lips.

Laurel was the sweetest person he had ever crossed paths with, and deep down, he was already convinced that she was the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.

He walked over to the bed and picked up the ring which he had been staring at for some hours now. He already had a ring, but only waited for the right time to place it on her fingers.
