The wine glass dropped from Eden’s brother’s hand the moment Eliana walked into the room. She had been passing through the hall way when she got distracted by some hushed voices that came from one of the many rooms. At first, she made to shove it aside, but realizing that it was a suspicious move, she decided to satisfy her curiosity.

At this, she opened the door, without knocking or giving any notice.

“Ohh! Eliana”, Eden’s brother said with a smile on his face as he tried to relax his nerves.

Eliana was the last person he expected to see and seeing how she barged in while he was in the middle of a crucial discussion with his mother made him get highly uncomfortable.

“Is everything okay?” Eliana asked as she scanned through their faces, wondering why they were gazing at her as though they’ve just seen a ghost.

Eden’s brother broke into a loud and mysterious round of laughter, after which he nodded in affirmation.

“We are good! Just having a little chat”, his mother said after a while.
