It was a dark day in the mansion. Not only were Eden and Eliana still mourning their child, there was also news that Osvaldo had passed.

“I escaped from Vincent’s men, but Osvaldo wasn’t lucky. He died”, the man who had rushed back into the mansion said, panting heavily with bruises and blood stains on every part of his body.

Eden was taken aback by this statement and inasmuch as it sounded so true and certain, he wasn’t ready to accept. Osvaldo was not just his right hand man, he was also his friend and someone he considered a friend and companion. They had been through a lot together and he was one person who would always stand by his side, no matter how hard and difficult the situation may be.

“And how are you certain that he is dead?” Eden asked with a shaky voice, trying so hard to control his emotions even though it was a lot more difficult than he had thought.

“Just as I left, I heard one of Vincent’s men talking about it. He is dead!” The man declared with every convinction in
